  1. 📬 12/15/22 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOT YET ARRIVING]

I think they are also expecting competition. they don't want to raise prices and have someone undercut them. Lots of factors swirling about creating this mess.
  2. K&N air filters for Hybrid Maverick?

Exactly. Thats why I got one for my Buick Enclave. I've got 80,000 miles on the filter. Cleaned and reused a few times. Just about at the break even ($) point. EDIT: To be clear, mine isn't a K&N. Its an AEM Dryflow. Same idea as far as filtration ability though.
  3. Are you switching your order from Hybrid to Ecoboost? [Now allowed by Ford!]

I plan to switch tonight. The Jetta set EGR and DPF codes this morning:oops:. Not fun looking between an unobtanium dieselgate emission compliant fix:mad: or a $2800 delete:sick:. I drive 50 mph state highways for 90% of my driving. It will take some time before the MPG and maintenance...
  4. No 45 days email update and no online tracking anymore

Same here. EDIT: Just got my 2nd 45 day email.
  5. S10 possible rebirth

That looks to still have the same GMI700 bones as the 2012 model.
  6. Scheduling on 12/8/22 For All Production Weeks Through January 30; Same Constraints

The Atkinson cycle trades power for efficiency which is what hybrid customers generally care about.
  7. Maverick Raptor sighted???

The FX4 should have just been an "Offroad Package". The Tremor is what the FX4 should have been. That can actually go to significantly more places than the standard AWD Maverick.
  8. Is 12 volt battery for hybrid a AGM battery?

Post from another thread. Eco is AGM. Hybrid is not.
  9. Is 12 volt battery for hybrid a AGM battery?

He got it from the link in his post. I'll paste the important info from the link. Still need to confirm that the BXT99T4A is or is not AGM.
  10. Maverick Scheduling Week of 12/01/22: All of January

My job at the time of order was Ford X-plan partner. This applies a discount to the options too. My new job isn't (yet to be confirmed though). Down payment savings was eaten up during the time gap in between jobs. Once that's back I might take them off. Still might have better odds at the...
  11. Maverick Scheduling Week of 12/01/22: All of January

So, what is being said is I could both win the lottery, be struck by lightning inside my home and still not have my XLT Hybrid with mud flaps, hitch, rubber mats and hard rollup cover?
  12. Longevity, or First thing TO-DO when received new Maverick!

Looking at what the Prius forums had to say about the catch can, I can see its usefulness. Not for carbon buildup, but for removing oil from where it's not supposed to be. They go so far as to claim significant engine knock from oil in the combustion area of the cylinders. Side note...
  13. Longevity, or First thing TO-DO when received new Maverick!

It will mix the fuel with air through a port in the intake manifold. This allows for fuel to pass through the intake valve. Fuel is a bit of a solvent and mimimizes carbon buildup. Its what was used in the 90s/early 2000s before direct injection.
  14. Longevity, or First thing TO-DO when received new Maverick!

I thought that the 2.5L was Sequential Mass Fuel Injection (port injection)?
  15. If all Hybrids will not be built, will ford give option to purchase EB

This most likely will be settled at the dealership level. When the stock EB start showing up just ask your dealer about getting one. They are inclined to make a sale as they don't make money on unfilled orders. Remember that the goal from Ford is to get you in any Ford truck, not necessarily...
  16. It’s here and a week early

I also ordered (9/16/22) from Mike Fitzpatrick in Newnan. Did they try to pull any hidden fee or markup shenanigans?
