Using the recommended spec oil and keeping receipts as evidence of intent of use simply discourages any challenges to the warranty claims. Means that they are going to have to work harder to build a case against you. Sometimes, that's enough to make it not worth the effort for them.
It has arrived! Picked it up this morning. '23 Atlas Blue, XLT w/ Cargo + SIBL, FWD. Got 32 MPG on my trip to work. 1,525 lbs. of payload capacity.
Seems to be exactly what I wanted and should meet my needs perfectly.
My 5-year-old daughter is already hard at work coming up with a name for it.
Don Sweger at Mike Fitzpatrick Ford of Newnan Georgia was fantastic.
There was clear communication of what the price would be and why. No silly markups or taked on dealer installed options. The price was exactly what he quoted (updated for the changes that Ford made ex. the cargo discount)...
In legal courts, the dealer isn't going to get in trouble for this unless they are dumb enough to not return the deposit.
Now in potential Ford Court with the Honorable Judge Jim Farley, and allocations penalizations instead of $, maybe.
I am not sure about an FX4 tire, but the Continental Pro Contacts will fit. Barely. It is possible to shimmy the tire in place with the teeth fitting into one of the grooves on the tire. A different tread pattern probably would not fit.

As for how I am tracking the railcar, I call both Norfolk Southern and Union Pacific and use their automated trace system by phone.
Glad to see some making it home.
Mines been going on a ride through the cornfields. KS to IA and back to KS for some reason. The interchange from Union Pacific to Norfolk Southern in MO at lot 222 keeps getting delayed.

Next day update: I called again today, and everything was back to normal. Strange, but glad to have it...
Lacking a telescopic steering wheel is a deal breaker.
You would think that a work truck would aim to accommodate as many different driver shapes/builds as possible.
I would expect a Work Truck interior to sacrifice comfort & luxury (tastefully colored soft touch surfaces, heated/cooled power leather seats, etc.) to instead maximize functionality & durability (dull hard/durable/easily cleaned plastics, cloth but many directional manual seats). Instead, it...
I emailed the salesperson at my dealership.
It shipped out on 3/4.
Arrived in Nogales, AZ on 3/6.
Then arrived in Tuscon, AZ on 3/7.
That's the most recent update. It's on Union Pacific to be transferred to Norfolk Southern in Missouri on (estimated) 3/15.
