  1. ATLAS BLUE Maverick Photos Thread

    Just took delivery this morning.
  2. Costco / Kirkland full synthetic oil is not certified for use in any Ford

Using the recommended spec oil and keeping receipts as evidence of intent of use simply discourages any challenges to the warranty claims. Means that they are going to have to work harder to build a case against you. Sometimes, that's enough to make it not worth the effort for them.
  3. February Build Month Thread

It has arrived! Picked it up this morning. '23 Atlas Blue, XLT w/ Cargo + SIBL, FWD. Got 32 MPG on my trip to work. 1,525 lbs. of payload capacity. Seems to be exactly what I wanted and should meet my needs perfectly. My 5-year-old daughter is already hard at work coming up with a name for it.
  4. 🤝 List of honest dealerships for Ford Maverick buyers

I added it also using that link. Is there a way to check for duplication?
  5. 🤝 List of honest dealerships for Ford Maverick buyers

Don Sweger at Mike Fitzpatrick Ford of Newnan Georgia was fantastic. There was clear communication of what the price would be and why. No silly markups or taked on dealer installed options. The price was exactly what he quoted (updated for the changes that Ford made ex. the cargo discount)...
  6. Hello and goodbye! I am no longer waiting!!!

Glad to hear that ordering from Don Sweger at Mike Fitzpatrick Ford was a good experience. Mine is on a railcar heading its way there now.
  7. Is "stealing" your order Identity Theft?

In legal courts, the dealer isn't going to get in trouble for this unless they are dumb enough to not return the deposit. Now in potential Ford Court with the Honorable Judge Jim Farley, and allocations penalizations instead of $, maybe.
  8. OE FX4 Tire as a Spare

I am not sure about an FX4 tire, but the Continental Pro Contacts will fit. Barely. It is possible to shimmy the tire in place with the teeth fitting into one of the grooves on the tire. A different tread pattern probably would not fit. See post #14 here: Confirmed. Steelie as full size spare...
  9. Watching the Northern Lights with my Maverick 🌒

    Send that to Ford marketing.
  10. Rail car delivery Ramp 1 codes

I've got RH02. Not on the list. I am guessing that's Atlanta.
  11. February Build Month Thread

I have been calling both. Union Pacific 1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 2. Follow phone prompts for Trace 3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together 4. Listen for your update NS Norfolk Southern 1. Call 800-635-5768 2. Press 2. 3. Press 2. 4. Enter the letters...
  12. February Build Month Thread

My dealer confirmed that I am price protected. Also confirmed my $500 Farm Bureau discount. As for how I am tracking the railcar, I call both Norfolk Southern and Union Pacific and use their automated trace system by phone.
  13. February Build Month Thread

Glad to see some making it home. Mines been going on a ride through the cornfields. KS to IA and back to KS for some reason. The interchange from Union Pacific to Norfolk Southern in MO at lot 222 keeps getting delayed.
  14. Shining dashboard button...

Maverick has 6 speakers: -tweeters in the dash. (2) -6.5s in the front doors (2) -4s above the top seat belt anchor in the rear (2) The premium adds 2 more: -center speaker in the dash (1) -subwoofer behind the rear seat back (1)
  15. Norfolk Southern Trace?

I called again today, and everything was back to normal. Strange, but glad to have it working for me.
  16. Norfolk Southern Trace?

I called today and found out that the menu changed. It rambled on about signing up for their website, and then it automatically transferred to a person. How do we just get the automatic trace? Next day update: I called again today, and everything was back to normal. Strange, but glad to have it...
  17. Color Tailgate Letters For Atlas Blue? Photos Requested.

I plan to go with reflective black, eventually.
  18. New Colorado Interior - Seriously Disappointing

Lacking a telescopic steering wheel is a deal breaker. You would think that a work truck would aim to accommodate as many different driver shapes/builds as possible.
  19. New Colorado Interior - Seriously Disappointing

I would expect a Work Truck interior to sacrifice comfort & luxury (tastefully colored soft touch surfaces, heated/cooled power leather seats, etc.) to instead maximize functionality & durability (dull hard/durable/easily cleaned plastics, cloth but many directional manual seats). Instead, it...
  20. February Build Month Thread

I emailed the salesperson at my dealership. It shipped out on 3/4. Arrived in Nogales, AZ on 3/6. Then arrived in Tuscon, AZ on 3/7. That's the most recent update. It's on Union Pacific to be transferred to Norfolk Southern in Missouri on (estimated) 3/15.
