  1. June6_22, wheel lug ?

I purchased "The System" from Gorilla Automotive on Amazon. I like it because it turns every lug nut into a wheel lock and, rather than using some flimsy raised ledges to loosen the nut like McGard, it uses splines that comprise the wheel lock itself. Gorilla Automotive 96644BDX Black Factory...
  2. 15K Miles Review and Stuff I Hate

I just read through every reply in this thread looking for an answer and can't find one... What's the suction cup for?
  3. Ways to identify Hybrid vs EcoBoost with tailgate badges removed?

I've been trying to find undercarriage photos to compare. I don't think they are.
  4. Ways to identify Hybrid vs EcoBoost with tailgate badges removed?

So, now that that's out of the way. Who can tell me how to tell the difference between a hybrid and EB without looking at badges?
  5. Ways to identify Hybrid vs EcoBoost with tailgate badges removed?

I don't think these guys are reselling them. I believe they sell them for scrap to someone who can salvage the platinum and other valuable metals in the catalyst. My understanding is that hybrid cats have less wear as they're not using the gasoline engine all of the time. Just spit balling though.
  6. Ways to identify Hybrid vs EcoBoost with tailgate badges removed?

The location of the catalytic converter is more difficult to access on the hybrid, but hybrid cats are generally more sought after by thieves.
  7. Ways to identify Hybrid vs EcoBoost with tailgate badges removed?

I have been considering removing the "hybrid" badge from my tailgate as an additional deterrent for catalytic converter thieves. I understand it would be difficult to steal, but I'd rather they not even bother to try. It got me thinking... What ways can one identify whether a Maverick is a...
  8. DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package

I had CC from the factory, and I've had ACC working without issues for more than a week. I'll go back and take another look at the BCM file.
  9. DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package

I performed a diff between my stock AsBuilt and the current settings. It's possible I missed that line, I'll go back and check. If it's not, I suppose it's not necessary?
  10. DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package

I have TSR working but I've been unable to get intelligent ACC working. I am able to program all the necessary changes, I can select it from the menu, but I get an error in the cluster, something like "unable to read speed". I used the settings from the Escape threads, are there additional...
  11. DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package

I wonder why they need different coolant reservoirs. I'm digging the UFO style you have there
  12. DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package

See the red circle for the brake booster reservoir. I don't have the part number, but I believe the Escape forum post mentioned elsewhere goes into detail. The parts and process should be pretty similar. EDIT: here's the link to the Escape forum post...
  13. DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package

Yep, that's right. And yeah, I hadn't encountered a group of such intense car hackers prior to getting this truck and seeing what people have done with their other Ford vehicles.
  14. DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package

Yeah, the button cluster on the left side of the steering wheel has two extra buttons for ACC, lane centering and trailing distance.
  15. DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package

I would think so. My understanding is that all trims have the same type of IPMA.
  16. DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package

If I'd known it wasn't included with CP360 on the XLT I would have ordered a Lariat. That's what I get for not doing my homework. We have a Subaru with ACC and it's a total game changer in highway traffic.
  17. DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package

From what I can gather, lane centering is only available when ACC is active. This install DOES enable both ACC and lane centering.
