  1. First big detail done. Ceramic etc.

Pretty much the same as my process except I have put about ten coats of Carnuba on my Mav. I will wait and see just how the ceramic and graphene coatings hold up after a few years. I remember more than a few different products with great shine and water sheeting. Still, after a few years, the...
  2. Lane Keeping System retrofit install using FORScan (on all trims without Copilot 360)

I put in the new stalk and that went great. A bit of a PIA getting the chewing gum vinyl cover back in place but the switch was easy to replace. But when I started programming it kept reverting back to the original codes. Especially the BCM. Not sure what was going on so when I did it the...
  3. Tremor snow performance

Unless they drastically cripple the truck, it will be good in snow. I have a '22 with Fx4/Tow packages and I had absolutely no problem getting between Boise and Price last winter. I think it should be good even in a lake effect dump in Salt Lake. I run Blizzak and ContactProVikings in the...
  4. Maverick Tremor Official Release! – Specs, Pics, Videos. Priced @ $2,995

I want to know if the locking diff will be interchangeable with the weak sister I have in my 22 Mav? How about a tighter xfer case to go with the twin-clutch locking diff? The little 2 liter can put up the power but it is all lost in slippage in the xfer case and diff.
  5. Boomba Racing Ford Maverick Adjustable Blow Off Valve Adaptor Now Available!

boomba ought to toss in the dip stick handle for any of us that purchase the kits. Keep the customer perception high, and a sticker for the back window would be a good idea.
  6. Boomba Racing Ford Maverick Adjustable Blow Off Valve Adaptor Now Available!

NOt sure if the sound it makes is important but keeping the charge inlet from packing up is important to flow.
  7. Boomba Racing Ford Maverick 2.0L Ecoboost Blow Off Valve Adaptor Now Available!

Now that some companies are starting to make performance parts for this vehicle and Ford has already identified the weak part of the drive train, the Limited Slip clutch in the rear diff, maybe Dayna or Atlas will make a real transfer case for this motor and maybe even a set of solid axles. I...
  8. Boomba Racing Ford Maverick 2.0L Ecoboost Blow Off Valve Adaptor Now Available!

I ordered the set, TB Spacer, IM Spacer, BOV adapter. I will let you know how they work.
  9. Boomba Racing Ford Maverick 2.0 EcoBoost Intake Manifold/Throttle Body Spacer Combo Now Available!

I see that the peak torque is at low to mid revs and there is a larger gain in HP at those points. I run my Mav on mountain trails and fire breaks so this would be perfect for that use and with the blow off valve should give me better control of power where I need it.
  10. Free Turbo Mod

We use LN2 at work and I have thought up a way of using LN2 to keep the cooling system good and low in the summer, this would be really an advantage in the desert during summer trail running. You can get a small cylinder of LN2 at most welding gas outlets. If you have a closed system with a...
  11. Lane Keeping System retrofit install using FORScan (on all trims without Copilot 360)

I ordered the part today so I should be able to install it and run the programmer this weekend. I will let you know how it turns out.
  12. Has anyone tried OpenPilot on the Maverick?

Not sure I would like to allow geeks on GitHub have at the controls of my, as yet, under a year old truck. I work with a number of the geeks on GitHub and though they are nice enough, most can barely walk and chew gum, let alone do both simultaneously. I will wait for automated drive for a few...
  13. First Oil Change on Hybrid Maverick XLT -- my notes / tips

Here is the question I have about the idea of oil additives and change period. I have witnessed too many "10k oil change" engines that have had the bearings, especially the cam bearings, destroyed at 150k miles. Toyota has had a brag about 10k oil changes and I have been seeing more and more...
  14. First Oil Change on Hybrid Maverick XLT -- my notes / tips

On the bottom, center, rear of the oil pan, at least on that van. Depends on the vehicle. Generally at the lowest point of the crankcase where road obstacles won't take it out.
  15. Code: B1539 - Right Rear Position Lamp Output

Since "they" haven't been paying any of my truck payments, I guess the ESP I bought will come in handy if this becomes an issue with my XLT
  16. Code: B1539 - Right Rear Position Lamp Output

Since there was a comment about the spare tire getting chaffed I wonder if some of the trucks were not completely assembled when they rolled out.
  17. Lane Keeping System retrofit install using FORScan (on all trims without Copilot 360)

AS an FYI the part is $54.95 + txx in my area. I ordered it and it is going to take a while. Already checked with the local salvage yard and no Maverick Lariats or XLT's yet to ravage for parts.
  18. Camper in Maverick promotional clip?

Winnebago has a new line of camper trailers starting at that price range. After dealing with and getting screwed by Airstream they are at the bottom of my choice for a trailer.
  19. Winch in front bumper?

The problem I keep running into is the intercooler and trans cooler. The only way I can see getting a winch in front is to build supports that bolt back into the body with some rectangular tube that can be bolted or pinched but pinching will cause the body members to distort and what that will...
  20. ForScan mod - enable all drive modes: eco, sport, mud and snow (confirmed working)

Does it affect tow mode? I have Fx4 and tow packages. Tow package turns on anti-sway. Actually when I plug in the 7 pin trailer plug it turns on tow mode but it is selectable as a drive mode.
