Let me point out that I put tool-up phrase in parentheses. But, there is a stop in production between model years. Your correct in saying that there is no actual tooling change that I can see, but there are production changes (cruise control, paint colors, resetting of tools, wiring harness...

Yep, there's a factory trim difference. I insisted on keeping the factory install hitch, but dumped other restraint options to let the dealer do them.

From what I've seen, the factory hitch option has a bumper wrap around it. (Black plastic) that gives it a custom look. For that reason I kept it in my order. I did pass on the bed liner, bed carpet and a few other that had higher restraint numbers.
