I suffer with severe sciatica and disc problems. It's rare that I find a vehicle that's comfortable. My legs go numb from my bony butt to my feet. I have an XLT on order. If it's uncomfortable (as you say) I'll have a good upholstery shop rebuild it to my spec. One bolster should be relatively...
Good luck trying that in a "free state" like Texas. I'd roll it up around a #2 pencil and tell them to shove up their arse.
Totally unenforceable! I've got a boner on for my dealer already! I (after i asked to have priority code moved from a 10 and they wouldn't budge)
If one recieved a conformation from Ford, they should call Ford direct. This is the type of stunt I believe dealers do to siphon cars off for themselves. Verify this story thru the Ford customer support department. Just my opine!
Let me point out that I put tool-up phrase in parentheses. But, there is a stop in production between model years. Your correct in saying that there is no actual tooling change that I can see, but there are production changes (cruise control, paint colors, resetting of tools, wiring harness...
Zero. I sold my 1965 Shelby 427 Cobra to order to order 2 Mavericks......1ea 2 liter Ecoboost and 1ea. 2.5 litre Hybrid. Jumped from the frying pan to the barely simmering teapot... LOL
Hmm, I've ordered 2 without driving them. I did sit in one at the dealer. It was sold, in "make-ready" department. Since it was sold, I couldn't drive it.
That's exactly why Ford requires a copy of your current drivers license. It must match your current address. If you want more than 1 Maverick it's like an FBI investigation (Ford is on to dealers shenanigans and they are working hard to eliminate the crap) Dealers are now subject to factory...
I went OEM on the hitch for several reasons
1. The U-Haul bolt on does not look like the integral OEM. Ford unit has custom black bumper wrap.
2. When UHaul hooks up the lights, the computer reads it as a trailer is attached.(so I've been told)
3. The Uhaul wiring is exposed (ie: not in a...
From what I've seen, the factory hitch option has a bumper wrap around it. (Black plastic) that gives it a custom look. For that reason I kept it in my order. I did pass on the bed liner, bed carpet and a few other that had higher restraint numbers.
