    Is it true that when you change from Hybrid to EB you lose your place in line? If so, that’s one hell of an incentive considering that Ford is asking us to do it.

    My dealer seemed confident my hybrid would be built, but from what I’ve read, it seemed very doubtful. So I went ECO. Now I’m beginning to wonder if I’ll get the EB.

    i thought they couldn’t build the hybrid. Now that I switched, they don’t build anything but. Ford may have the worst PR people on the planet.

    Anyone else think Ford’s ordering process borders on a bait (Hybrid) and switch (Eco)? The hybrid is a cheap and probably not a very profitable model. It drew us in. Now, we’re told they can’t deliver, and we’re given an untenable option. Ford stands to make a bundle.

    And don’t call the hybrid your standard motor if you can’t build 50%.

    Easy to say if you’re young, but if I wait, and don’t get the Hybrid there’s no guarantee I get a 24. I don’t have too many years left.
