Yes i just upgraded to 235/65/17 and purchased a black rim and 5 tires and all fit perfect.

But there is a 14 degree decent , and the hill decent on the Mav works great.

I just had mine done for the second time , last Nov and again this week. Oil based spray , removed plates fx4 , droped felt liners, pop tailghts and get in there with a long wand. When i looked at drive shaft it was 2/3 sprayed last year as we did not rotate it while spraying and now its 1/3...

Your bang on , I had them on my wranglers 100% door ding protection (NOTHING WAS TALL ENOUGH TO HIT MY DOORS)and a bonus was keeping road grim of the paint… but the maverick is a different beast, any taller vehicle like mid size trucks will still connect with your doors and you loose ground...

Question, If Ford felt they had to beef up the axles on the tremor partly due to the 1 inch lift , then how are guys getting away with 2+Inch lifts on the FX4’s ??
