  1. Most Range I've Ever Gotten After a Full Tank!

You completely blew my thread out of proportion. This was not intended to be fake. I was just innocently displaying a range estimate I never achieved before. My intentions were good. I even mentioned towards the end that I'm sure the range will drop like a stone, since I knew it wouldn't...
  2. Most Range I've Ever Gotten After a Full Tank!

Just went for a fill-up after work. Granted, my tank wasn't totally empty. I had about 75 miles of range left. After putting a fresh tank of Mobil 89 octane in, this was my estimated range... Just over 500 miles! The most I've ever had! Just when I thought my 460 was good from last week...
  3. Comment if You've Had No Issues

If you've had no issues. There, I said it. :p In all seriousness, I've had my FX4 for a year and a half and it's been trouble-free. Runs like a top and is a great cruiser. It's a hell a of a lot more reliable than my first one which was a smorgasbord of recalls.
  4. Why Are 2025 Lariats So Hard to Find?

Are you kidding? Were you not here to experience the backlash it had at launch? It was called downright ugly and weird looking with more and more people appreciating the 22-24 front end much better. The most ridiculed part was the protruding front bumper piece that cut into the headlights...
  5. 2026 Maverick Order Guide?

I only mention because when the Maverick was first launched, it was a smash hit with every special order or retail order flying off the lot, many over MSRP. Nowadays, Mavericks can be seen at virtually any dealership. Last I checked, my dealer had a small batch, even with slight discounts...
  6. Paint damage due to tonneau cover

I have a similar issue but more minor by comparison and only on the passenger side. However, on the driver's side, the curved railing that meets the tailgate is under so much pressure from the tonneau that it's buckled. You can even see the sheet metal outline that the rail is supposed to...
  7. 2026 Maverick Order Guide?

2026 already? I feel like we just started 2025. They've only been on the market for half a year. BTW, to this day, I rarely ever see them. Maybe one fleet truck here, an XLT there, and a Lariat once in a blue moon. Lobos and Tremors are virtually non-existent, at least around here. The...
  8. Annoying Safe Mode

I think you're reading it wrong. Never have I ever heard of a car wanting you to drive because you're in "safe mode." Like the above member said, I think you're mistaking it for "battery saver mode" since you have a hybrid. Maybe take a picture of it the next time you see it? That'll help...
  9. Maverick & Bronco Sport in my driveway

That was us two and a half years ago...
  10. Maverick crushing Santa Cruz sales in 2025

Why am I not surprised? The SC is more expensive, uglier, still doesn't offer a hybrid, has a slightly smaller bed and isn't any more reliable than the Maverick, especially the turbocharged 2.5L.
  11. Have you seen this uneven gap with the headlight assy

Is that condensation towards the bottom of the inner housing? I wonder if that gap is what's causing it. It would make sense since it's uneven, more water can get in. Also, I couldn't help but notice you switched out your front turn signal bulbs with LEDs like I did. I bought a set of...
  12. Finally made 500 miles on a tank of gas in EB…..

Considering I also have an EB with the FX4 package, I can chime in. I can't say I've reached 500 miles on a single tank of gas yet. The highest I've gotten it to was 450. Still not too shabby but not the magical 500. I usually fill up once I get the "low fuel" pop-up at the 50 mile mark...
  13. Fire Resistance

Wow! Just three spaces away and virtually untouched. That's impressive! I don't know if the same could be said for a different car parked in the same spot. Regardless, it's good you have a car to go back to unlike others.
  14. Current pricing .

And this is supposed to benefit the economy how? I only mention this because, no matter how anyone looks at it, no matter which side of the political aisle you're on, this does NOT benefit the American buying public in any way, shape, or form. Unnecessary supply disruptions and shortages...
  15. Interior plastic scuffs / scrapes - partial success using Pledge Revitalizing Oil

Well, that's good to know. I'll have to consider this. The brittle plastic drives me crazy! My b-pillars are the worst hit areas, despite retracting the belt gently.
  16. Front Suspension Clunk (CV Axle?)

I've mentioned this before and even saw a thread for it not too long after the Maverick first came out. So, the reason I'm posting about it again is to get some new, more relevant insight from anyone who may be experiencing this to this day or even on the 25 refreshes. Ever since last year...
  17. Why Are 2025 Lariats So Hard to Find?

Well, for those who don't intend on keeping their vehicles long-term, it works out swimmingly. You have a brand new vehicle every few years that's fully covered under warranty. And, once the lease is up, you have the choice of getting another one or buying it outright. Yes, I get the fact...
  18. Why Are 2025 Lariats So Hard to Find?

I'm not looking at one at the moment. Sometimes, I browse on Cargurus just for the fun of it and to see what's out there. I'm still on the fence if I want another one or not. Or, maybe I should just keep what I have and buy it out at the end of the lease. But man, the price increases in just...
  19. Keyed RRM :(

You have to hit an all-time low in order to do something like this. What did this gain that person? It must be done out of jealousy or utter stupidity, or a mix of the two. I'm sorry to hear the astronomical quote. Having to pay out of pocket for someone else's negligence should never be a...
  20. Keyed RRM :(

Unfortunately for the OP, that's just for the 360 camera system when the rearview camera is activated. They don't continuously record like Century Mode on Teslas.
