This is more of a reason why I'm glad I got rid of mine. I knew there was a problem with mine since I kept hearing a clunk in the driver front suspension every time I made a turn at low speeds or pulled into the driveway. This has to be correlated. I brought it in to the dealer and, of...
This comes as no surprise. Of course the bright colors are gonna hold their value the highest. There's less of them which keeps their values high. I'm sure the used prices of Orange Fury Mavericks in a year will reflect that. Same goes for Eruption Green.
I'm glad the Maverick is finally gonna get some much needed competition. That way if the Rampage becomes a success, it'll give Ford an excuse to keep improving on it. Plus, it'll be nice for buyers to have more than one compact truck to choose. It's been on its own for too long. Yes, the SC...
I NEVER use auto climate. I just don't see the point. To me, it just pointlessly blasts air no matter what the outside temperature is. I like to just get in and set it manually so it's in my control, not what the truck thinks is right. Plus, I don't like to hear a blower motor on high unless...
Commenting on my own post here. I will say it does look sharp with the black appearance package. It's a nice contrast. But on the regular package, it doesn't suit it very well.
Just poking around on CarGurus and came across the new color simply called Light Blue. That's according to Ford's online configurator. It reminds me of Robin's Egg Blue on the Bronco and Bronco Sport Heritage Editions. I'm not sure if I like it or not. It seems a bit loud like Orange Fury...
Wow! I'm just more impressed that John Davis is still going strong! I've always loved him on Motorweek and his golden voice! The best host ever! But yes, the Lobo is pretty sweet! I know that one without options is gonna run in the high 30s, like around $37,000 and one with all the options...
Just playing around with the online configurator and I noticed for whatever reason, when you're looking at the XL and XLT trims, it depicts them with black wheels (on the XLT) and black bezeled headlights and taillights when that's not the case in real life. Anyone else notice that? A small...
Thanks for the advice. Mine aren't terrible but they are heavily scratched from two years in the elements and probably from taking it through automated car washes here and there. I do have Meguiar's Cleaner Wax that I use on the paint. How do you feel about using that on the wheels?
Anyone know of a good product to use on the gloss black FX4 wheels? Mine are two years old and are starting to show their age. They're scratched all to hell and there's even some slight discoloring in certain spots. I would like to spruce them up.
Even on Ford's website, they do that. You'll see most of Ford's lineup on the welcome screen except for the Maverick. I've also only seen one T.V. commercial with a Maverick in it.
When new, my 2024 Maverick Lariat FX4 was $37,745. As it currently sits with almost 13,000 miles and an accident report, KBB still values it at $31,500 trade-in and $32,110 private party. Not bad!
