Do you have the light on the panel at the left rear of the bed? If so, I tied mine in there. Turns on and off from the switch there or the cargo light switch in the cab.
Scroll up to the information screen on your gauge cluster menu. One of the options in the information tab is "Auto Stop/Start". It will tell yo why it is not active. It might say Running due to low temp, or running charging. If it is giving a reason, or the reason doesn't make sense, (your...
I have a 2023 Hybrid XLT Luxury. Picked it up September 8, 2023, already have over 11,100 miles on it. A couple of minor issues, but nothing more egregious than any other newer release model. I drive about 100 miles a day for my round trip commute, getting about 38-42 mpg depending on temps...
My son's 2022 EB AWD, (no 4k), has the 16.5....we took it on a road trip last summer and put more that 14.5 in several times, once we put 16.3 in. Range was "fill gas now" or something like that....
My son and I both have the switch back LEDs up front. After he had the turn signal recall done, his dash hyper flashes, but not the actual signals. It is the rears that cause it, not the fronts. We replaced both left rear bulbs with the factory incandescent bulbs, and the hyper flash for the...
Um, LEDs are BRIGHTER, and longer lasting. The bulbs work fine, and there was no issue prior to Ford screwing around with reprogramming his truck. We live in an area with mountains, and quite often there is FOG when we have to cross one or both of them. The brighter LED bulbs make a HUGE...
I am a trained electronics technician. I swapped the bulbs locations, and also as I mention before I also swapped in the original bulbs. I could buy the theory on the LEDs resistor value changing, but not ALL 4 at the same time, (unless something done during the recall process damaged them)...
It is both sides, and we did reseat the bulbs.....if we replaced both LEDs on one side of the rear with incandescent bulbs, the problem went away. IT's definitely tied tot the software upgrade. We specifically spent extra to buy the LEDs that were "Canbus Ready", so we wouldn't have this...
So my son and I both installed LASFIT LED bulb packages in our Mavericks, (his 2022 EB AWD XLT Lux, mine 2023 Hybrid XLT Lux). He had his serpentine belt replaced under warranty, and they did the Turn Signal update, now he has Hyper-Flash. Anyone else experience this?
So there is A LOT to this, it is not simple. I commute about 50 miles each way. There are 2 different routes I can take. One is 48 miles, and takes more 2 lane roads through a couple of small towns. The other is about 53 miles, and is mostly highway. They both take about 58 minutes, BUT...
With less than 20 miles on the "trip", idling for just a few minutes will make it drop like a rock, so will 1 or 2 hard accelerations. Wait until you have 80 or 100 miles on this "trip" before you start worrying.
I have talked to several people who had the 12V battery replaced under warranty multiple times, only to have it fail again. In a couple of cases after several warranty replacements, the person went out and bought a quality battery, and have been fine ever since. Not saying this is your dads...
This is due to moisture in the oil. If your trips are all very short, the likely cause is that the engine is not getting warmed up to full operating temp, and maintaining that temp long enough to "boil" the moisture out of the oil.
I converted all of my tail/brake lights to LED utilizing LEDs from Lasfit, so adding a LED tailgate light bar, was/is no issue. Current draw is still less than standard incandescent bulbs.
The real problem is, if you have CP360, anything plugged into the hitch plug causes the BLIS and Rear Cross Traffic Alert to be inop. You must tie into the light assembly wiring to add any of the tailgate lights, or bump steps to avoid these issues.
I installed the LasFit LED light package for my Maverick XLT. I opted for the switch back bulbs. I like the extra white light up front, but it left me with no amber, and after running it for a while, I decided I wanted amber lights up front. I also wanted some fender turn signals as I drive...
I simply plugged a USB drive into the larger USB port, and it indexes the drive, and plays the music. I am disappointed in Ford, as I am moving from a Chevy Cruze. My Cruze supported a USB hub, so I had 2 drives plugged in with different music. When I plugged the USB hub into the Maverick, it...
