Don't do it.......I had 2 hybrids ordered......switched one to EB........still NOTHING for EITHER one!!! Both ordered day one, and confirmed 9/16 by FORD!!!! FORD=Factory Orders Rarely Done!!!!
I don't see why they need to build Bronco Sports. My dealer has ZERO Mavericks, but 14 Bronco Sports sitting on the lot...and that number keeps growing, last week it was only 11, (with Zero Mavs.....).
Can anyone tell me how the process works to change a Hybrid order to an EB? I have 2 Hybrids on order, and considering changing one to an EB. I asked my dealer about it, and he said they have to cancel my Hybrid order, so I wouldn't be able to order the EB until banks open for MY 24.......I...
Well, it looks like neither of my 2 orders for a MY 23 Maverick XLT Lux Hybrid will fruitful this week, as I just got my "Your money is important, but you not so much" emails telling me about "how aggressively they are working against the supply chain issues to get me behind the wheel", blah...
Every vehicle fits everyone a little differently. That said, my son has a '22, EB AWD XLT Lux in Area 51. I drove it for a week while he was out of town over Christmas, on my commute. 52 miles each way, of that, 45 miles are highway miles, on I-70, and I-270 in MD. I found the power, to be...
This was a 22 model, which means YES the 2.0 EB was more expensive. For 23, the EB and hybrid are the same price, but the review is accurate for what it is....and since there are still dealers selling 22 EB's, he's not wrong.....
Gang, help me out if you can. My dealer can't figure out how to add the Cleat Tie Down Kit C to my orders. He claims it doesn't exist. He has added both the spray in bed liner, and the cargo management system, but the full price for both shows up, no -$225, like I've seen on orders some have...
I doubt that will happen. Ford seems happy to just let people languish "on the hook". What ever leftover capacity they have, they will just build as "dealer stock", and ship it out. If they do offer that, I might switch one of my 2 Hybrid orders to EB AWD.....but I'm not going to hold my...
One difference between Costco and Sam's is Costco is Top Tier Gasoline, where as Sam's is not. There is a difference, especially for long term use. I pass both on my way home from work, and usually fill at Costco, (unless I need to stop at Sam's otherwise), their prices are usually the same...
The only thing for sure is that SOME dealers took way more orders than they had allocations for. Those orders will most likely not be built as MY 2023 vehicles. What does this mean? Simple, if your dealer has an annual allocation of say 125 Mavericks for MY 23, and your dealer took 150...
My son and I both went to the dealer on 9/15/2022 and ordered. Orders went through, got emails from Ford 9/16/2022.
1-2023 Hybrid XLT, Alto Blue, Lux Package, Co-Pilot 360, Remote Start, Sliding Rear Window.

I'm a little...
I don't NEED the vehicle, mine is perfectly fine. When I got this one, I traded a 2003 Cavalier with 253,000 miles. Ford just really did a great job of "selling" me on the Maverick. I fully expected the Maverick to be 6 or 8 months or more.
Thank you. You answered a lot of my questions, and explained some things I didn't understand. I don't think Ford is not building on purpose, but there is no incentive for them to NOT overbook orders. They will still sell the trucks they build, but we could be left hanging out in the wind.
I never said anything about expecting it quickly! Not sure where you read that. Yes I did my research, and that is why I placed my order on day one. I would have expected Ford to do their research, and not accept so many orders! Speaking of research, perhaps you could research the difference...
