It's an ecoboost. I disagree with your statement. First. I have a 22 Lincoln Corsair which doesn't activate the heated mirrors automatically. Second, the light is lit on the button.
Now that it is getting colder out, I see that every time I start my truck, the Heated Mirrors are enabled. Is there a way to disable them from automatically coming on at every start? I looked in the manual and can't find anything. It is just useless to have them on when not needed.

I've had the same intermittent problem. Also, have it in my 22 Corsair since I bought it almost 2 years ago. BTW, the current sw version in my 23 is 22251. The vehicle was built in May.
For what it's worth, I have a 24 Lariat that included the keypad as standard. It certainly looks like a stick on model to me. My 22 Lincoln Corsair has the keypad that is not visible until you touch the area where it's located.
