The only point of contact is on the plastic rear window bezel, not the glass nor the paint.
They ship rubber stand off blocks though I see no need for them.

I had Ziebart undercoat my truck last summer. There was a promo price (-100) which brought the cost down to $499. In a few months, I'll take it back for inspection and re-application (if needed).

Yes. Standard 5 gallon water bottles can stand up under a closed tonneau (at least with a BakFlip MX4 hard folding tonneau). I put 4 bottles against the tailgate and vertical net with bungees as well.
