Best I've gotten from my 4K tow FX4 is 430 miles for a tank.

The only point of contact is on the plastic rear window bezel, not the glass nor the paint. They ship rubber stand off blocks though I see no need for them. Good luck with your decision!

I had Ziebart undercoat my truck last summer. There was a promo price (-100) which brought the cost down to $499. In a few months, I'll take it back for inspection and re-application (if needed).

No regret on buying 4K FX4. After 8 months and 10,000 miles, it’s done everything I’ve wanted to do- towing, camping, and hauling. I also get 2x MPGs from my old S10 truck.

Suggestion: maximize your use of cruise control. While I have added ECO mode via Forscan, I've seen better fuel savings by using cruise control.

Yes. Standard 5 gallon water bottles can stand up under a closed tonneau (at least with a BakFlip MX4 hard folding tonneau). I put 4 bottles against the tailgate and vertical net with bungees as well.
