Yes, I noticed the same thing. My '23 FX4 4K on a 900 mile trip - peak mpg was around 68mph (cruise control, no AC, flat highway, Eco mode). Edit: I managed 32 mpg on the drive out trying to find optimum and 36 mpg on drive back.

I'm happy with the one I bought from Harbor Freight ($60) although I've only used it with lumber.

With the Elevate rack, I can haul both kayaks, canoe, and gear (strapped down on tonneau deck).

I have a similar tri-fold tonneau as you do and was able to secure both my Loon 11' and Aruba 10' under the tonneau while waiting for my Elevate rack to show up.

Next chance for a Maverick meetup will be Saturday, August 24th on the north side of Indy.

I ordered my 2023 Maverick using X-Plan through Pearson Ford (NW Indy/Zionsville) without problems. Craig Bowes did a great job for me.
