Hmmm, I don't see how that bracket comes into play, so if I'll be hauling things like plywood, I plan to simply move the cobles to the tailgate strikers and call it good to go.
The Lariat (500A) Equipment Group list includes "FLEXBED with Two (2) Rear Cubby Storage." Mine has a storage compartment on the passenger side and a power panel with light bolted onto the driver's side. Not that it matters much, but I'm wondering if anyone's Lariat came with two storage cubies.
Finally, a benefit of being a short 5-10 guy! Seriously though, keep in mind when comparing headroom vs height that some sit higher than others of the same height.
Hmmm. I've been using Android Auto with wireless connection of a Galaxy S23 to a Motorola MA1, but now I'm curious and will have to check that out to see if I have the same issue.
I've been on this forum since early November 2023 after ordering my Mav, and this thread is the first one I've seen that is mostly a pissing contest with no redeeming value. THANK YOU to all the helpful members who have shared great information and ideas with no negativity.
If holes in add-ons don't line up on my '24 Lariat, they'll be returned... unless its something I really really really want and nobody makes one that fits properly. So far, no problem with what little I've added (Klutchtech hood struts, Dee Zee tail gate assist, and Juegoal bump step).
Thank you for the captivating title. I don't know if this is a serious issue, but you are a genius writer. I needed a laugh today and please don't take offense by my simply enjoying the lead-in.
I don't know if you meant to sound like a snooty intellectual who knows what's best for others, but you did. This feature is great for some, but not for all. Personally, I like it.
Thank you!!! I take delivery of my '24 Mav Lariat EB tomorrow and will be anxious to see if FORScan has been updated for MY 24 (I had read last month that it didn't yet work on 24's).
What grade of fuel are you running? If you're using regular, I'm wondering if premium might help. I'll take delivery of my '24 Lariat eco on Monday (3/19), and I'm planning to use 95 octane. Since I'll only drive it about 3K - 4K miles/year, mostly in town, the extra fuel cost will be...
Sorry about the shitty car washes you folks have in your area. The touchless car wash I use is great Never had any contact with my 2021 Avalon or 2018 F-150, and I expect the same for my soon to be delivered Mav.
