Love my '22 Maverick XLT. Just preordered a '24 Maverick yesterday, exact same truck. Kind of a gamble, but I may just keep both. I've made worse investments.
Probably going to forgo the "24 Maverick. 1. Price increase. 2. Time constraints, I just don't want to wait 9 months to a year. 3. '22 worth less when the '24 gets here. 4. Area 51 not available. '22 was $29,500 delivered. The '24, equipped the same, looks to be $36,000 delivered...
No. I'm 77 and no issues after driving long distances. Going to order a new Maverick when the time comes and start training for the Iron Man. Is it me or the Maverick?
Ford Authority News that came out today: Change EcoBoost engine oil every 5000 miles. Do not follow the oil life %. Conflicting? Confusing? Yep. Tomorrow may be something different.
Got 0% interest on '22 Maverick. Nobody said anything until I talked to the finance guy. Had a Farm Bureau $500 rebate certificate but it never showed anywhere. Called Farm Bureau and they said you can't stack two benefits. Well OK. Two months later I get a $500 check from Kenwood Dealer...
I have always liked the drop in bed liner. My '22 Maverick has the 5 piece Ford liner, which I ordered with my truck. It works for me. You may need a bed mat to keep things from sliding.
Got the same letter and sticker from Ford. If you followed the instructions it would not work. It doesn't say anything about peeling the paper off the back before installing.
It was kind of a joke where I worked when guys talked about buying new tires, I always said it's been 20 years since I've bought tires 'cause I trade up to a new car or truck every 1-2 years. It wasn't always that way with 3 kids and house payments, but it's nice when you finally get there.
Being debt free will change your life, not only in the physical sense but mentally as well. Paying off your house is a big step. I use credit cards only to my advantage, Amex Blue Card 6% back on groceries and Ford Credit for the service work. Planning to order a new '24 when the time comes...
Just got my second recall notice from Ford. Probably not going to get it done. Will order a '24 and sell the XLT to CarMax. I don't think it will affect the sell price. I do like my dealer, just don't to spend half a day sitting in the waiting room.
When I ordered my '22 there was a $100 deposit with my credit card. Never did show up on my credit card bill or on the final paper work. 5 months later my truck was delivered with no problems. Love the truck and dealer.
