Traded in my '12 Outback 3.6R for my Maverick....it is more useful, similar 'performance' even being rated at 60 fewer horses, quieter, and more useful for hauling stuff for the house. Getting a good 2.5x the mileage sure is nice, ok double on the highway, but easily 2.5 times in my daily...
Justin.23, those look great on Atlas Blue, now I can't wait for them to arrive. Amazon claims on Monday, so my install may have to wait until next weekend. :( Are you lifted, or is it an optical illusion with the flares?
While I already have splash guards, I know they're not going to fit with...
Oh yea, they dropped that for '24 didn't they.....so glad my '23 (22 rollover) was actually built, so I have those items, and at about the original '22 pricing. - My Subaru had the heated park area, it actually does help keep the wipers from getting frozen over.
On the down side, the windshield...
Pretty sure he's the guy who's previous YouTube video just prior to the problem, indicated he was over 80k and it was super reliable. Then maybe 2-3 weeks later, he had the trans issue, and posted a video showing the issue. He was on a road trip and continued to drive it, as the problems...
To my knowledge nobody recommends or even suggests going more than 12 months. Even with a relatively sealed crankcase (emissions), there's always condensation with temp swings, so low mileage doesn't necessarily mean you can go longer between changes. That said, the plan shows 6 months OR...
TFL-Trucks did a test doing a highway jaunt, topping off using the same procedure before & after, then repeating with the cover installed. On their full size it resulted in a gain of of around 5-6% if memory serves. Doesn't sound like much, BUT at 40 mpg, that's a 2 mpg increase!
Not...
Yep, most of the weight whether Hybrid or EB2/AWD is over the front wheels, and even the AWD models are primarily FWD until slip is detected under most conditions. These aren't a true full time AWD setup like found on Subaru & Audi vehicles. - My Outback for instance was a 45/55 torque split...
And I thought my 531 days was long.....however, there are members that have waited substantially longer!
So what about a sticker that's just the outline, and the internals, no filler or on a clear background? I'd like it to be smaller, or a bit less intrusive, as I already have a rear view...
I'm critical of seats, and my 6'2" ~220 lbs frame finds the seats in my Lariat extremely comfortable, even driving for a couple of hours. Each of my two test drives were easily an hour or more, as I wanted to be darn sure I'd be happy with the driving position and comfort. - Had a Windstar...
Placing the handle open in the front would make the door naturally want to open when applying force. The handle really only gets used to close the door, as pulling the release (open at the front) automatically pushes the door open. I don't see where it's backwards at all.
Sync3 only updates on its own if you have WiFi configured, the truck is within range & connected, and automatic updates are turned on. - I usually leave wifi off, and then turn it one once a month and manually invoke a check for updates.
I'm believe something updated last night, when I happened...
I can just step onto the open tailgate grabbing the stop of the bed rail, and I'm just over 6'2". I could see somebody shorter, or a few years older having some difficulty.
It is easier to simply sit on the tailgate, and swing our feet up roll onto you knees and your into the bed. It...
I personally suspect its to quiet the rear window motor, as it appears the top portion sits over/against it. It even looks like the sound padding they put under the carpet at the firewall, just not pressed together as flat. - The only sound you hear opening or closing the window is that of the...
Richard Cranium has some stuff on Thingiverse, for those wanting to print themselves, but not that grate yet. I was considering the screen using self adhesive screen repair tape myself, but the grate, being easily removable would be an excellent option.
Will he be releasing the file on...
Sadly, only the lawyers will make out on the class action suit. Owners will get like $100 or a certificate for so much off a new vehicle & warranty extension for that specific failure for maybe 10/100. And increase mfg costs, raising prices.
First couple of times, the seat needs a good push to latch. Seems to get easier overtime, or I'm just slapping it shut faster than the initially. - More a rapid push than a hard push.
There's always the thought process that technically, its really a FIVE(5) button keypad, as the numbers double up 2 per button, which yields only a mere 15,625 (5^5) possible combinations. Now, if we program in a personal code along with the factory code, there's a 2 in 15,625 chance in finding...
Without a tonneau cover, inside the bed wall would work?
Mounted to the base of the rear window, where it meets the bed wall, would be inconspicuous, especially if there's a tonneau installed.
Nobody would think of looking on the passenger side of the vehicle?
Other places that come to mind...
I haven't tested the thought, and with a tonneau wouldn't notice, but doesn't it light with the upper cab cargo light when unlocking/locking the truck? - Not positive, but something tells me it might, even if you've pressed the button to turn it off.
If it does, I wouldn't notice with the...
