FWIW the 2023 Hybrids do not have a resonator behind the axle, zero, zilch, nada. I've been unable to ascertain if they simply found it unneeded, or whether the main muffler just in front of the rear axle was changed as well.
And that tie-down(?) bracket behind the left rear wheel is also absent.
Is there a MTC code to use on their site? - Been waiting and watching, and these are the only in-channel units available, and I really miss cracking the window for air on rainy days. (Had visors on the last two vehicles since 2021...I don't upgrade often).
Appears the Front-Runner model should work for those with Lariat w/CP360+Assist, as it doesn't obstruct the radar unit at the bottom of the grill. A little bulkier than I'd like, and of course approach if you're off-roading, not really a concern for most Hybrid owners.
Looks like it probably...
Ford limits top speed in most automatic equipped vehicles to approximately 112 mph in the US. You'll need a tuner to adjust the limiter. Personally wouldn't want or need to hit the brakes or swerve to avoid an accident at those speeds anyway.
The Telematics might also include the ability to actually use the head unit with voice commands, or your phone tied into it. Typically, the voice commands after pressing the 'talk' button on the steering wheel, are considered part of the Telematics in some instances. - Curious if that basically...
Did you double up the weather-stripping along the front? Mine leaked a little up there until I slid it back, added a second layer (they give an extra length in the kit), and now the front seems to stay bone dry.
My only minor water seepage is along the tailgate seal...still working on whether...
Not sure I'd like a loud version of an Atkins Cycle engine droning into the cabin. The Atkins Cycle already looses power density, torque, and effective cylinder pressure. Adding a low restriction exhaust may further reduce torque, especially at low rpms, and increase the torque peak rpms...
If it wasn't $3k or more, I'd have my entire truck covered in self healing PPF. For the time being, I keep applying Graphene infused Ceramic products, in hopes the slickness helps prevent or minimize those types of damage.
Sadly, many people simply don't give pile of you know what about their...
My prior vehicles, most recently to farthest back:
2023 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid - Current
2012 Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited
2002 GMC Envoy XLT
1996 Ford Windstar (Should have been called the Cr@pstar)
1989 Chrysler New Yorker
1986 Eldorado (Was a prior repo, love/hate relationship...
AVS Bug Deflector 2, sits higher and extends over front of fenders. You may need to make new center holes, otherwise a great product. - Seems to work well, and no hood flutter).
EGR has same misaligned holes apparently, but another choice for good protection.
I was pleasantly surprised by the FWD Hybrid's driving dynamics, as most of the FWD vehicles I've owned over the years had a solid rear suspension, as did the older RWD and 4x4 Envoy. Heck, in reality only my 86 Escort & 12 Outback had an independent rear suspension. Ford apparently did...
The turn/distance in the upper left of the 6.5 is automatic, my bone stock/un-modified Lariat w/Lux has shown the turn directions with distance in the upper left since day one when using the built in Sync3 Navigation. I fully plan to make some changes with Forscan, but just haven't gotten...
60 (soon to be 61), Commercial Insurance and still perform IT Work part-time, from when I wrote Insurance Software and was more IT/Software than Insurance Sales. - Wanted some utility to carry home improvement items, furniture, and occasional equipment. Fell in love with the idea of the hybrid...
Like others, T50 on a normal 3/8" in ratchet. It was snug, but a little oomph, and it broke free fairly easily, then ran it out. - Honestly, don't recall seeing lock-tite on the threads, but that was a couple weeks ago.
Yes the tailgate is fairly light, however, others might not realize it...
Shame they don't sell a model with the same Pier Blue Navy color of the dash, which I happen to like. I could see dash mat possibly providing some sound insulation from sounds emanating from the dash area.
Does the Covercraft just sit on the dash, use adhesive, or a non-slip backing?
Maybe I'm cheap, but the price of that little cup is just WAY too expensive, to have it nearly match the rest of the trim in my Lariat. - I look at them now and then, and it's like, wow, that's a lot of money for $0.75 worth of molded plastic. There's no reason that should be more than $10.00...
I bought this on Prime-Day in July, and it fits near prefect from A-Pillar to A-Pillar, and covers nearly the entire windshield. - It was on sale for like $6.00, and had an credit, making it nearly free. Works well, and folds down into an 8-10" disc...
I actually want flares as well on my Atlas Blue, and have been watching for any new models coming out. In watching some YouTube videos, the Air-Designs have two minor caveats, which have given me some pause.
1) Apparently, they not molded black, they're WHITE and painted, which has more...
Probably another Maverick Hybrid if possible, and our insurance has the 'New Car Replacement' to pay the additional costs of replacing the vehicle. (Assuming you can find one).
If not available, I'd look at an Escape Hybrid (Std & PHEV), *maybe* a Santa-Cruz, Ridgeline, or some other Hybrid on...
