Have not had any problems in any of my garages but when I parked my old B2000 in the driveway mice or some rodent filled the air cleaner with acorns. To do that they had to crawl up and into the snorkel. No damage though- just emptied it out.
I'm happy with mine. My other vehicle is an Infiniti and the Lariat has most of the convenience features I like. I don't use the ACC but will at some point. I have used the back window several times to carry long items that would have been a pain to secure in the bed. Just cleaned the seats...
Installed mine yesterday and it looks great. On my eco this puts it close to the battery so I connected to the Battery Tender harness with no extensions.
I tried to drill the smallest hole required but did not notice the base part that will touch the side badge is bigger than the plug so I had...
Very clean. I currently have mine just stubbed out at the hood opening which works but this would look better. I drive about the same as you plus I have a car and motorcycle so putting it on the Tender every once in a while is a good idea.
I liked the idea of the Santa Cruz from the time they showed the prototype. When I finally found a dealer who would let me drive one I did and also drove a Genesis GV70 that I was considering. They were both fine but the dealer had a Maverick they bought so people could compare and I really...

Seems like a "steal" with or without the discount. Has anyone had a bad experience? I guess the lock could fail and you would have to run a grinder carefully to cut off the locking tab.
My truck came with some residue on the dash and I did not notice it for a while. I tried a bunch of stuff and nothing worked great. Eventually just slow and careful rubbing with a microfiber and a household spray cleaner got most of it off. The friction with some kind of lubrication to keep from...

Start/stop technology: where your car dies at every red light so companies get a climate participation trophy. EPA approved it, and everyone hates it, so we’re fixing it.
That article makes a lot of assumptions. Does every manufacturer make the changes they claim? Plus it is from "Green Car Reports" which I never heard of. Why would the manufacturer rep refuse to give their name?
Tux mats. Perfect fit. They came with clips to attach them but I did not use them and they are fine. Really good coverage and easy to clean. They come slightly rolled in a big box.
On my 2004 Infiniti when the audio system failed you also lost control of HVAC because they were integrated. When I called the dealer they told me you could also buy a bezel that had its own HVAC controls and then you could use any audio system you wanted. The bezel was from a third party but...
