Your charger was set to agm I think the maverick has a standard lead acid battery. Different termination voltage. I'd try again with standard chosen.

I am sick of reading " it's a cheap truck under $22k." I ordered xlt lux hybrid and it is $33k, going to be $36k out the door. Any new vehicle should not be plagued with these issues. Don't make excuses because " it's cheap"
