Mine does this as well when I have the air on but AC turned off.
I have a very strong feeling that the humidity sensor is what causes this. The truck automatically compensates to avoid the windows being too foggy.
Are you on a slight hill? My truck does this often. It will automatically have a brake hold similar to the one that you can toggle on and off. It only will do thi on an incline though. When you did your 3 point turn, was it on a slight grade?
I just had this exact thing Happen. Got home, went inside for maybe an hour. Went back and the key fob won't unlock, or lock the truck.
I used the physical key and then the dash had a count down timer to start before alarm sounds...
I started it, and then turned off immediately. I then hit lock...
I won't be rooting, or buying a different adapter. I guess I'll have to deal with it being in my phone screen for now.
Hopefully there will be a way soon enough with Android 14. I have never rooted a phone before.

I think you also have to account for the seat airbags In the front. The covercraft Carhartt ones are made for the maverick, and it's air bags. They are just very pricey.
