I don't know about that, I hauled at least 800lbs of cut concrete slabs, have done multiple loads of fire wood, multiple loads mulch bags. Transported a deer to butcher etc... close to 1000 lbs of steel in a load.
An empty IBC 330 gallon tote. Saw mill runs.
Many Lowe's and home Depot trips for...
I'm glad I wasn't alone! I have not put over the 1200 lbs or so the bed is supposedly able handle, I feel I should upgrade first. I put the weight in the trailer, and I feel that the truck handles that much better.
I think that the air bags that go inside the rear springs may help.
I do find that you didn't notice a load very hard to believe.
I like my maverick, very much. But I had about 800 or so pounds of concrete in the back, boy did the steering change.
I would move the wheel and the truck had a sway to it, like there was a delay from the front end turning, and the...
I literally had mine accelerate on its own over a few miles.
The brakes never failed during this. When I parked and started it back up over an hour later no issues.
It would accelerate up to 30, not really fast but it would go to 30, and then not accelerate further.
Flooring the throttle did not...
Mine did.
It was crazy. It would accelerate to about 30 mph on its own. As soon as I release the brakes it would keep doing it
This was after I jump started the truck. Has all sorts of warnings and errors on display.
I bought a new battery after that
Well for one, as much as we love our mavericks, they are not chick magnets 😂.
And besides the girls should be more impressed with the 43 mpgs than a drift haha.
It does not slide out of control. Going slow I tried it once, jold it up and it definitely shows the truck down. But I wouldn't use it more than just to see that it works or an emergency
In an emergency like this and your brakes are not working You can hold the parking lever and it will apply brakes I have tried it.
While you hold the lever up the brakes are on as soon as you let go with the brakes let go.
I need to get that noco terminal adapter. I could use it on mower and one on truck.
I meant the truck. I want it it detect that I put and AGM instead of a flooded acid battery.
I put the new AGM on the noco 2 until fully charged outside of the truck.
I then installed the AGM into the truck and...
Should I put my noco charger on the truck overnight to charge the new battery in it?
Does it need to detect the new battery being charged in order to remember the battery type and voltage?
I will say it seems like when I start the truck the voltage goes up to 15 volts, and not too long of...
I put it on a noco genius 2 amp till full before installing. I could also put the genius 2 under hood to the terminals if I have to charge it for the truck to see the voltage?
I put mine in today.
First thing that I noticed was the AGM one I bought was noticeably heavier.
I think more weight is a good thing for car batteries.
I followed OP first post. It was easy to do.
I did the battery reset of 5x flash lights 3 x hit brake and saw the battery symbol flash. I think...
That's great, I got my Maverick last March. Already have over 17,000 mi so it's not like I don't use it enough to keep the battery charged.
The new AGM battery that was posted here will be arriving today I'm going to try to switch it out. I did not bother going through Ford because everyone...
Thank you
I just looked under the hood, I don't see the fuse panel. I looked on the side near the steering wheel, and it looks like it's a panel for airbag
😮💨 It must be under rear seats. I'll look when my new AGM comes in. I need to remove car seats from the seat to open it.
When it's cold out and heat is turned to max, does the 2024 model hybrid have the added resistance heater the other years have? The electric heater, not the regular heat from engine.
I feel that it does not have it.
