Why wouldn't you drive it as it is? I don't see anything wrong driving it as long as the doors latch shut.

The SIBL is most likely holding up your order. Have you tried to change your build, drop the SIBL?

I don't understand how it could be a plus. It takes almost 3 seconds to fully open in the video. I can open the tailgate in my Ranger in a second or less without it bounding off the cables. I don't have to watch it slowly opening before it is

While I think the tailgate assist is neat, I don't think it is worth deleting a key tie-down on the tailgate that is needed for hauling plywood or other items that need to be securely tied down. Also, it takes almost 3 seconds to fully open, it doesn't even take a second to open it by hand.

Checked today and someone bought it.

I originally had these on my build but when I saw how the guards cover the paint, I called my dealer and had them remove them from my build. I think dirt and sand will collect between the guard and paint and start to rust.
