I work for an automotive supplier that produces electric steering systems. The lead time for a simple surface mount ceramic capacitor is at least a year in some cases. The supply chain is bonkers.
Saw this on a recent Youtube video. It is a matte screen protector that reduces fingerprints and glare, $30 is pretty steep but I really don't like fingerprints on screens.

I placed an order for XLT hybrid, lux, copilot, floor liners, and splash guards on Nov 12. Received the DORA/build sheet a few days later along with the email confirmation from Ford.
I saw a post on here of pictures of the splash guards and didn't like the lack of coverage of the rear guards...
That's how I understand it. Doesn't make sense but it is what it is. My build was both 360 and lux hybrid. According to the memo, my build was ok. But, I ordered on Nov. 12 and was very worried that I would not have it built this year, so I dropped both 360 and Lux. I live in SE Michigan and was...
This whole SIBL issue is strange. When I ordered my build w/Lux, on the website, it came with the SIBL. My DORA from the dealership showed a drop-in. I really didn't want the drop-in and called my dealer to delete it, they said they can't change drop-in because it is tied into the lux package. I...
I don't understand how it could be a plus. It takes almost 3 seconds to fully open in the video. I can open the tailgate in my Ranger in a second or less without it bounding off the cables. I don't have to watch it slowly opening before it is
While I think the tailgate assist is neat, I don't think it is worth deleting a key tie-down on the tailgate that is needed for hauling plywood or other items that need to be securely tied down.
Also, it takes almost 3 seconds to fully open, it doesn't even take a second to open it by hand.
I originally had these on my build but when I saw how the guards cover the paint, I called my dealer and had them remove them from my build. I think dirt and sand will collect between the guard and paint and start to rust.
Here's a video of the installation. There are bits of tape and a weather seal that are involved.

Good luck selling this dud. It really is unfortunate that the bed liner covers the panels and the 12v...
