  1. Plastic gas pedal ?

Try heating the rubber up a little and add soapy water to the rubber of the pad and the plastic of the pedal.
  2. 8 Months Wasted, no ROVP on my order

Does anyone know if you contact Ford via chat if they can check to see if a ROVP is in the system? I'm going to give it a try this evening. I haven't used the chat yet to check on my order. I have only communicated with my dealer.
  3. Michigan roll call!

I live north of Detroit, Clawson, Oakland county. Ordered from Dean Sellers in Troy on Nov. 12. Build details in signature.
  4. Is glare an issue on infotainment screen?

If I understand correctly, the protector is the correct size without any modifications?
  5. Plastic gas pedal ?

I wonder if these would work. They would match the stock floor mats. Amazon link

What product did you use? I am going to use QuartzLite by CarPro.
  7. November Hybrid Orders United

Looks like we both have nearly the same order. I ordered mine on Nov. 12. Velocity Blue, Luxury Pkg, co-pilot 360, splash guards and floor mats. Removed Lux, 360 and splash guards on March 8. I haven't contacted my dealer or Ford chat yet. I will check on my order in the beginning of June. I...
  8. Anyone like the dial shifter?

Agree, two hands on the wheel, but It is recommended to place your hands at 3 and 9 o'clock positions. This avoids your forearms coming into contact upon deployment of the airbag. 12 o'clock hand position is dangerous. If the airbag deploys your arm might get broken or your hand might hit you in...
  9. New Ford email: Co-Pilot36 package, XLT Luxury package, and Lariat Luxury package face strongest constraints

Currently, my 2002 Ranger has 211,000 miles on it. 3.0L XLT 'super cab' with just A/C, no power options at all, bought it in Oct. 2002. Still cranking the windows in 2022:LOL: Needs brakes and tires and it is rusted out. It runs fine, just leaks a bit of oil and coolant. I need a new vehicle...
  10. A matter of "Supply & Demand" ...or just gouging? $48k Lariat

Some people have more dollars than sense. Someone will buy it, they might need a vehicle very badly, or they just want it now or they don't know better. Really can't blame the dealership, they are out to make a profit. The dealership where I placed my order usually has a Maverick $10,000+ over...
  11. VELOCITY BLUE Maverick Photos Thread

    Oh, that's pretty cool.
  12. VELOCITY BLUE Maverick Photos Thread

The blue RocBlokz logo matches the color of the truck nicely. I ordered with the black logo.
  13. Rok Blokz hardware rusting. Did I do something wrong?

Well your getting closer to knowing what you need to replace the screws. Now only the thread pitch remains a mystery. 8-24 or 8-32.
  14. Soft Paint?

I don't think ceramic coatings will do much good. Ceramic coatings really only protect the paint from water marks and bird droppings from damaging the surface of the paint. A protective plastic film (PPF) would prevent the paint from chipping due to rocks or road debris.
  15. 3/24 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOT YET RECEIVED]

I am in the same predicament. My 2002 Ranger is just about to tick over to 210k.
  16. Bedrug bed & tailgate liner carpet installed pic

It looks like the tie-downs in the front corners of the bed are covered up. I don't like that too much.
  17. J.D. Power Vehicle Quality Survey received

Thanks for the details. This makes me think the PPF is a good, although expensive, idea.
  18. J.D. Power Vehicle Quality Survey received

Where are the paint chips located, are they bad? I ask because I am considering to PPF the hood, the bumper facia, full fenders and was considering the a-pillers and very front of roof (leading edge).
