I always have my oil changed at a dealer. Costs more, but they will stand behind their staff and they train them. Those oil change places on the corner? Did you ever see the same employee twice? Turnover is crazy. If you ever have a problem with a dealer, go one step up and call regional...
If you click on the Mabett site under sponsors all you get are Bronco products, and there does not appear to be a way to contact the company. Does this need to be updated or do you have to find a way to contact Ryan if you have any questions?
Just installed the Mabett set. Was way easier than I expected. They look great and I know they will help keep some of the salt off the underside of the car once the city goes nuts with the salt. Now time will tell if they stay in place or not.
Trailmaster above has it correct. It is another way to track the car if it is stolen. $399 for $2500 return if it is stolen and they cannot find it. I think my return on investment on this one sucks. I could have spent that money on some neat accessories.
My first mod was to add a spray in bed liner. Then I added a soft tonneau cover until I could decide which hard tonneau cover I wanted. Haard cover installed and now waiting to receive mud flaps today. Xmas is coming so I better stop so someone else can find modifications for me.
I will have to call the dealership to find out what the charge is. I used a credit union to buy the car, so dealer is off the hook if I steal it. Now it is problem for the CU. I assumed it was a charge to protect all the cars on the lot from theft. Anyone can go to a dealership, hot wire a...
The keypad on my Explorer died and I just quit using it. I was told it would have to be replaced if I wanted to use one again, but I can imagine the cost.
The way I remembered the code is I used a birthdate. Easy number to remember, and if someone needs to get in your car, just say it is so...
I was looking over the cost of my Maverick and I see they charged me $399 for antitheft. Is this a Ford charge that everyone gets, or is this a local charge by the dealership?
A picture of the tape would help if anyone has one. The tape is about 2 feet long, but it looks like you only need a foot of it. I do not see any need to cut the tape except maybe at the top where the flap is angled.
I was just planning on going to Hallmark and purchasing one of their notebooks. They have one about 4x6 inches with about 30 pages that i can keep in the glovebox. Ford can maintain the in depth records. I will just write down a date, what was done, and invoice number. Should be enuf.
