  1. Oil change schedule / interval? Synthetic oil?

Damn you guys are really getting into it. I am getting a 2.0T - for safety of my engine, I prefer to change more frequently than required. It is cheap insurance in case what I view my use is heavier than what is typical for the truck. I plan on using 5W-30 full synthetic. I have used...
  2. Is there an issue with carbonized gray?

Definitely quite lucky! Hopefully those additional items you want you can add in later! I have two orders (one XL and one XLT, not sure which I want) that neither have been scheduled (both in June). But guessing my options just aren't palatable to ford!
  3. Is there an issue with carbonized gray?

goddamn, thats a hell of a turn around time.
  4. Ford Maverick 2.0L Intel From Hands-On Experience

Oh how interesting! I have a few questions for you! how was pulling the door closed with those handles? How is the viewing angle from the drivers seat? Any big blind spots? You noted it was good on road noise - compared to what vehicles have you been driving to compare? how “upright” are the...
  5. Do any of you live in a HOA with restrictions on trucks?

That is one of the most absurd things I have ever read. Trucks are commonplace nearly everywhere. Hell, my neighborhood I would bet there is a truck in every 4th driveway. I am supposing the true intent is no work trucks (signage on the sides) rather a personal vehicle, but dang that’s wild...
  6. Co-pilot360 worth the price?

As an FYI, this also gives you powered mirrors on the XL. They don’t advertise it but that was confirmed by Long Arthur Ford. The extra safety features + powered mirrors are always welcome IMO.

my 2013 focus grieves for you.
  8. Can manual sliding rear window be converted to power?

eh I would say power window would be nicemost of the time(not all of the time) and someone may find a “hack” to add those parts. Won’t be cheap either though.
  9. Any dash pictures of Lariat hybrid?

This is the one. It has a larger display next to the tach and speedometer than the standard. Should also display more things
  10. 7/23 - Maverick Scheduling Update - No retail orders, but stock orders are scheduling

Interesting, I thought the 4K tow would be a popular add on with all 2.0T.
  11. 7/23 - Maverick Scheduling Update - No retail orders, but stock orders are scheduling

That’s the risk with ordering an unreleased vehicle. I was told other vehicle orders are far faster…
  12. Maverick 2.0L EcoBoost Engine Sound Clip

Funny how we differ! I would like to NOT have one so I can have direct access to motor. I do a lot of my own maintenance and that means under the hood every 6months
  13. So, you've ordered. Do you have concerns?

FWD will drive fine in the snow with snow tires. Sure AWD would be SLIGHTLY better (with snow tires) but its the tires getting you the traction. But yes, I hope that the maverick fits what I want. I cant wait to test drive to see driving noise, materials, etc. I am coming from an SE Focus so...
  14. Best guesses at build date for my Maverick? Just totaled my car, have to make some decisions...

It feels long... I was thinking 8 weeks (2 months) from VIN as VIN means its scheduled to start within a week or 3.
  15. Rear legroom in Maverick for big & tall people / passengers - 6'4" tested

How was the seating position? Very vertical? Which is the hybrid and which the 2.0T? 2.0T has an extra inch they say!
  16. Bed mounted outlet

i can always wait 3 years then go to work on it 🤷‍♂️
  17. Maverick 2.0L EcoBoost Engine Sound Clip

Sounds like my 2013 focus, guessing the turbo will sound different when revved up

  19. General tips on ordering negotiations for 2022 Maverick? Is it even possible?

Alternatively you can join the mustang club and get XPlan which is effectively invoice. Just to note you have to be a member for 3 months before it takes effect (I.e. take delivery and sign paperwork ). You do have to notify dealers that you are XPlan while ordering as well, just an FYI
