I wish the All Windows Open feature was on the XLT Lux. We have the all windows open on the bronco and its great during the summer to vent the car as we approach. However, I would caution people with kids to think twice about the all windows close feature. It could accidently close on their...
Especially considering the poster says dash cam footage verifies child's story. Then post the footage as part of the original thread. Or post it now that people are asking.
I like the ""drive-by thread" comment. Been seeing more of those. I would like to see the dash-cam footage from this? I know my son was in the 22 bronco stopped at a light with a car in front of him and he accidently slipped off the brake and the bronco bumped the car in front at idle speed. He...
Electric sounds nice, however, DTE rates to fully charge the fully electric are getting to the point that the only value is soon becoming the positive impact on the enviroment. I would feel like I am just trading who I pay the $200 month for transportation- the gas station or the Electric...
I am using the original factory tires. Almost 14,000 miles on the truck, I have had them rotated twice so far. The front wheel drive has worked pretty well during the couple of snow storms and 1 ice storm we have had this year.
I can't speak to the 2024 model. I have had the 2023 model XLT LUX 1 full year (Hybrid) and have had no mechanical issues.
I drive about 50 miles a day total.
I live in Michigan and this is my second winter with the trucklet. Average mileage for the year, (normal mode for city, day time...
I picked up my truck in early February 2023 and it went through 2 ice storms in 2 weeks. Heavey salted roads etc.. This happened to 2 small areas on ours within the first month of ownership. It behaved like the salt and road treatments had penetrated the pores of not yet fully cured plastics...
I liked the ieda of having a wiper well insert that heats to prevent this while the truck is in motion while driving in these sub-zero temps.Even though this is a pain, I still love the trucklet!
LOL, I panicked as well especially when I heard it coming from the roof and moonroof area. Then I realized it was likely from the ice build up in all the "seams" that bruhing the snow off doesn't remove.
The heated wipers/de-icer works awesome. Unfortunately the melt travels down to that wiper well while driving and freezes around the motor connection to the wiper. Of course the temps are around zero which is likely the full cause.
I love how my Hybrid Handles in the snow! Love the Windshield Wiper De-Icer feature. However has anyone experienced Wiper Well issues during this latest snow storm/ice? I have a LUX with Wiper De-icer which works great. However, with the snow, wind chill, and low temps, all the melt goes into...
Maverick owner since Feb. 2023. Close to 13,000 miles. I use it for work as well as recreational. The interior is holding up well. If fact the 2022 Bronco 2 door has more scuffs in the interior than the Maverick. I ordered the Maverick in 2021 and having a Hybrid truck with so much function with...
12000 plus miles on my hybrid. Owned it since Feb. 2023. 2 1600 mile freeway vacations. MPG for total time of ownership is around 47 mpg and some change, calculated by hand every fill up.
TiPs:
Turn off your daytime driving lights in the settings.
Use normal driving mode. ECO tanked my...
I live in Michigan and have had my Maverick XLT Hybrid since first week of Feb. I have 12,000 miles on it. Total Average MPG calculated manually is 48.6 mpg . 2 Major road trips down south. The ride is very smooth and quiet. When hualing large loads in bed, and it is put in Haul mode, the truck...
I would still pay the 1500 extra for the Hybrid. I have only had my hybrid 6 months and have already saved $453 in gas costs; 7110 miles on the truck. I was filling up a 2 door g5 every week for communiting to work and depending on the station I used, sometimes every 5 to 6 days. Now I fill up...
