I can't imagine that Ford would change it without your permission. I wonder if the dealer did it. I would call Ford marketing and ask how it got changed.

I never have received an email from Ford, however by calling and chatting I found out I have a VIN #. Build date was 8/29, then 9/12/ then 9/5, and now 9/19.

Maybe IKEA should think about selling in the box vehicles. :)

I believe that the Lariat also has an extra sound deadening layer in the windshield.

Use the A word. Attorney. Sometimes that gets people to act. The second one to use is Social Media.

I've heard of a number Bronco's produced waiting for a chip and some F150's but not sure if they were delivered and the chip came later. Some other manufacturers have though. I had heard that they don't give a VIN # until they have all of the parts. HMMMM. Have you called Ford Marketing?

Have you asked if you could get the truck and have the chip installed later? I'm 73 next week and bought it partly for the safety features. My production date is 9/5

First the production date was the week o9f August 29, then September 12th and now it's back to September 5th. Hybrid, Lariat, Lux, Co Pilot, SIBL. Ordered October 26.
