Sounds similar to my experience. Some dealerships are choosing to not over-complicate 22 orders rolling into 23, by putting them in based on the existing info. and then, once your in the 23 order banks, you can follow up and make changes, as needed.

Looks like Mullinax got my 22 rollover in without having to actually do anything. Likely to save time and everyone’s position, they must have someone just going through all the 22 rollover orders and just cloning them into the 23 ordering processing system.
If you don’t mind me asking, who’s your salesman at Apopka? I’m in the same boat with a Nov. order that’s rolling to 23 and I’m just curious if it’s Justin or Tim.
I would say, it really boils down to how long you intend to keep the vehicle. Any trim level, higher than base, is always going to be worth more in residual resale, so it’s not moneys wasted. If you don’t plan on keeping it for the long haul, stick with just the features you need.
Man, that really stinks! Fortunately, you didn’t have to go through your private insurance. I sure would like to see someone develop a bolt-on. option that shields/deters this issue.
