Do less! lol . If you replaced the bulbs in the tail lights, they are going to twist out of the housing the same exact way. Leave all the wiring the way it is. Just grab twist and pull it out.
I put the Kisled brand in mine and worked great.
No wires to disconnect. Once the 3rd brake light housing is detached, simply twist off the bulb that you are replacing. The bulb comes directly out of the housing at that point.
For sure. I saw the adapter that they used via Thinkware ( I believe is the manufacturer). Easy plug in access. I wanted to save that option in case I wire that up as well. I think I'll be getting that in the next few months.
It just has the traditional plastic pop tabs. Just slowly tug on the edges and it comes right off. The only thing that took several minutes to accomplish was the reassembly . It popped on fine, but the rubber seal along the edge did take some finesse. I had to start at one end and work your way...

Supposedly it is referencing the same lighting kit. The website is listing it in error and no one from Ford is wanting to take ownership and fix the issue. I don't like to throw away money and its more of a principal at this point.
I had someone "follow up" on my request but this was back on last Thursday Nov 4th. Pretty sure at this point I'll be stuck with just my 2 lights. I would have been better off doing a DIY and lighting up the entire bed for $50 bucks..
