  1. Disheartened With Santa Cruz Issues

I owned a new Tacoma for 4 horrible weeks. The truck dropped trim parts just driving down the highway. A really bad build.
  2. Disheartened With Santa Cruz Issues

How about stake holes in the bed rails? I use them in my 2006 Ranger, and did in my Tundra also. Really Ford? You could’ve done that!

  6. Disheartened With Santa Cruz Issues

I have been visiting both this and the SC forum. I had developed a real liking for much about the SC. I like the push bottom dampened tailgate, the bumper steps, the ā€œbrinkā€ under the bed...I could go on. BUT there are multiple threads about the SC simply freezing up and either stopping entirely...
  7. Hyundai takes direct jabs at Maverick in new Santa Cruz ad!

I keep teetering back and forth between the two vehicles. I am waiting for the 2023 models. ( A forced wait in the case of the Maverick.) I am pretty sure though, that the Santa Cruz would prove a better choice for a senior citizen(that would be me😊). Smoother ride and quieter-per every review...
  8. Maverick Road Trip CO -> SoCal (2,628 Miles total) : Feedback & Results

Well...how do you like your hybrid? Acceleration, NVH, etc.
  9. My 1000 Mile Review From Maiden Drive Home

Great review! Someone mentioned break in period-as being only in the past. Apparently the SC has a formal break in period. I am encouraged by the owner reviews. But it appears any trucklette for me won’t happen til 2023. Oh well.
  10. Lariat Owners: Was It Worth The Extra $$?

Thank you guys for your info!
  11. Santa Cruz not as weird looking as I expected.

Thank you for your information! Do you know why they did not include a hybrid?
  12. Lariat Owners: Was It Worth The Extra $$?

That’s good to hear-the interior pics look odd-and of course I can’t go to a local dealer and sit in one to see the real thing.
  13. Santa Cruz not as weird looking as I expected.

The Santa Cruz was in development for over 5 years. Too many cooks spoil the pot...and you know what a horse designed by a committee looks like-right?
  14. Saw Second Maverick in the Wild!

Turned left in front of us to enter. WAWA parking lot. I was so excited my bride thought I’d lose control of our van! Alto Blue-not an XL (no steelies.)
  15. Pennsylvania orders?

    A little South-but close!
  16. Lariat Owners: Was It Worth The Extra $$?

Glad it's Indiana. Just read an article about rampant train yard robberies in LA!
  17. Is the Maverick a real truck? I think it is and I am going to use it like a truck.

I once saw a Silverado on a showroom floor with a payload of 1001 lbs. Put a couple people in and you are severely limited as to hauling.
  18. Pennsylvania orders?

Three sightings-but all were Oxford WhiteSo, Have seen only one?
