I have a similar bed mat and it only began lifting when I put a bin in the front of the bed changing the aerodynamic flow in the bed. Since ii have a load bar in the truck I used it to clamp the sides to the uprights at the back of the bed. Hasn’t moved since and when I need the load bar there...
I think for me it has the appearance of being an afterthought. I believe that is because it looks like a piece stuck on top of the bumper cover. IMO it would be better if it was attached to the grill or at least looked as if it were a continuation of the body from the fenders. Makes it look...
Found it. I had to replace the driver side mirror after my wife got too close to a wall in the parking garage at work.
First, remove the mirror glass, if you don’t have plastic trim tools try a plate spatula or wooden spoon. Form pressure increasing gently till it pops off.
Next, remove...
When did washer fluid reservoirs become part of the fender. Long narrow and filled from the center but not from the highest point. I prefer old school square box in the corner of the engine compartment where you can see how full it is.
Maybe we just need to park facing up an incline to fill...
My experience is a little better. Towing my 1999 StarCraft pop up. I averaged 19 round trip from Las Vegas to Williams. I suppose the lack of exposed wind face behind the truck made a difference.
It was very easy. The pigtail seemed short until I got into the fender from underneath after I removed the harness from the the back of the cover plate. There is enough wire on the harness I think to reach the front of the bed. The 7 way is lined up by placing the top of the housing in the...
Here is my pop up and hybrid.
have 2,000 miles with this pair. Two trips from Las Vegas to Temecula and back. Climb from Primm into Ca. Is steep. Coming east on I15 is both the Cahoun Pass Climb and even more challenging is the the climb east from Baker Ca. 17 miles of increasing grade to 7%...
Ok, with the Curt Echo bt Controller it takes power from the 12v accessory/ charging blade in the truck side plug to apply the brakes on the trailer side.
You connect the 12v flex bed 12v power wire to the accessory/12v blade in the plug. Just cap off the brake wire on the 4 to 7 pin plug...
I used this 4 to 7 blade connector.

Where you can see the 4way in the picture on my other post it is in the location on the mount included with the kit. I did use a grinder to make room for the four way plug on the corner of factory plate. Drilled 4 holes for mounting...
See this one also. The echo is the simplest and least invasive way of adding a brake controller.
I have about 2,000 miles towing my pop up with a curt echo controller. After doing some research and finding that each electric brake (each wheel) uses about 1.5 amp max, a single axle is around...
2023 XL Hybrid, tow package, added 7 blade trailer connector to use with Curt Echo brake controller. Copilot 360. If you ask me, not making the built in brake controller in the 2 k capacity is a miss by ford. Nevada requires brakes at 1600lbs. My pop up hitched and open. Maverick tows better...
I disagree, my experience has been only great with my 2023 XL hybrid. Have nearly 1500 miles towing my pop up and just about 7000 total miles in 8 months even had all of the recall updates with no problems. I love my Maverick and it is the perfect vehicle for my needs as a daily driver getting...
