Yes. Used the flex bed connector that came with the Maverick. The top of the 7 contact connector is pushed up into the cut out for the factory 4pin. The echo uses the 12v power blade on the truck to power the brakes and itself so you don’t need to supply power to the brake blade. The two...
Here are pics of my 7 way connector install. The app has been updated and it works great. best part is it isn’t hard wired to the tow vehicle or trailer. If you are concerned with the app get the BT button for the dash.
I have had my camper out three times using the Curt Echo device. It works great and is adjustable just like a controller on the dash but in the app. I haven’t had any need to use for sway control. (Fortunately) When I press the button in the app it activates the brakes just like the Reese in...
Sounds like a job for the dealer. Should be warranty issue. They do that with turn signal update and oil change and infotainment update etc.
thx for the picture.
So not only are all of these clearly labeled I can look into the space and see that the tank is only about 2” deep and 12” long and 3 “ high. Does it wrap around the entire wheel well?. Not sure how one can get to the bottom of the tank unless from directly beneath the truck.
It appears that the reservoir holds about 1 1/2 - 2 cups or 12 - 16 ounces. It is as small as the 1970’s era cars that used a soft bag like reservoir. There are plenty of places under the hood for a larger container on my hybrid. Disappointing. Glad I no longer live in snow country...
The above link explains what I have been curious about regarding the eCVT system.
IMO these pauses or “simulated shifts” could actually be designed to adjust for torque and speed differentials and reduce stresses under increased load conditions? Just a thought.
Wouldn’t you expect that the simulated shifting would cause more wear and tear on the CVT drive belt? If the simulated shifting is better for the CVT why wouldn’t it be the default drive method.
Maybe Ford could provide a reason for shifting simulations in tow mode.
I get it in sport mode...
2023 XL Hybrid took delivery 10/23 only issue after 2300 mi was that infotainment system wouldn’t take time and date settings. After a week of resetting and attempting software update it just fixed itself.
