Behind will be identical so you could probably just drill a pilot to confirm the hole is open behind, then tap the whole thing. It’s such a short/ small hole I wouldn’t worry too much.

This is exactly how I feel as a first time Ford customer - I wish Ford Canada would improve the customer experience as this seems very old school and I don't trust my dealer staff once the deposit and order is in to care at all about me. Same here, I put my order in/ deposit on Monday Oct 18, the dealer sent me a photo of the submitted order on the 19th. He told me I’d get a vin in about two weeks. I’m trying to be patient but an email or something more official would be nice.

I’d just buy some nice stainless ones from a local hardware supplier, but I’m assuming you probably need to drill / thread your own holes in the stock location. Someone may be able to answer this
