With the stubby bed this could be a really cool way to maximize the potential of the bed. To really max out that space i would rather just have one huge drawer. I wish I could have a drawer that is shallow enough that bikes could still fit in there hanging over the tailgate pad, but perhaps that...
Honestly this is my only apprehension moving from a Ridgeline. I can stack 4 large Rubbermaid bins in the back behind the seats, with the rear folded up and my front seat at normal position for a 6 foot guy. It is fricken awesome for camping and stuff when I don’t want to leave things in the bed...
My Honda Ridgeline does. If you don’t turn it off when the wiper is where you want it, it is identical to the Maverick and you can’t raise the wiper.
Someone else I know tried to order around mid-Nov in Canada and did put a deposit, but it had a letter with more stipulations that they might have it delayed to a 2023.
I’d gladly experience my own minor discomfort of a mellow chime sound, further dampened by being inside my vehicle, any time to prevent killing or injuring someone else.

I called this week, I don’t have a VIN yet but gave the nice lady some of the other order details. She looked up my file and said my order is now in “processing”, which isn’t quite there yet but hopefully means a VIN and estimated build date soon .
Dealer fee is different, it is charged when you buy the truck on top of MSRP.
Mine said it is a standard $695 as well, plus I believe I have some sort of standard recycling fee for tires or something in BC.
I was thinking the same coming from an AWD Ridgeline. Then I remembered that I went up a fairly rough service road, pretty rutted out, and saw a FWD Corolla parked at the end by a lake.
For me the Maverick provides the ground clearance to alleviate concerns, but I would consider thicker /...
