My daily driver for years in the early 2010's was an '87 Nissan Pulsar NX with 70 horsepower. Probably my favorite vehicle Ive ever owned.
For the Maverick I dont trust the 3 cylinder as much as the 2.0 4 cylinder though so i may look into trying to get the bigger engine at least. Unless they...
Id love everything you just said but i really don't think ANY of it will happen. The manual just isn't a big enough seller and as far as I know they don't offer it in any of the chassis's that the Maverick shares.
As sad as it is (and yes, i loathe it too), the crew cab is the only way people...
I am 100% sure they will offer the 2.0 ecoboost as an option in the Maverick, dont worry.
The only questionable thing is how far up the trim lines do you need to go to get it. In a pefect world you could just just go on the build calculator and check a box on ANY of the trims to get the bigger...
Based on the side shot of the bare metal spy image that was seen it looks like they cut back seat space a lot to have bigger bed. More bed space vs rear seat space is 100% the way to make a truck like this. I cant stand stand crew cab trucks in general so the less back seat, the better...
Playing around on the Escape build calculator and i see the AWD is a static $1500 option. Going from the 1.5 to 2.0 is a $3385 option but its only on the SEL above trims.
So heres my hope: Give us the optionability to build it with whichever drivetrain options on whichever model we want. Ill...
Haha, i mean i DO really like my step sisters Ridgeline but i think a used '19 is beyond my price range. Im the type of person whos looking at the base price for the Maverick and salivating at it. The Ridgeline is starting at like $37k next year for the refresh isnt it? Thats mind boggling...
Ive used a first gen Ridgeline as a workhorse a few times and theyre pretty neat overall. I even steered my step-sister and her husband into a brand new one a few years ago they love the thing. They were cross-shopping the Tacoma and i think they made the absolute right choice for their needs...
But thats whats blowing my mind. You can barely get a crappy hatchback with an automatic for under $20k let alone a brand new small trucklet based off the Bronco Sport architecture.
I truly dont see how it could be sub $20k without a manual option at a minimum to take a massive chunk of the...
I honestly cant fathom how they're gonna hit sub $20k for a base price without a manual transmission option. By the grace of god that would be SPECTACULAR but i just dont see the manual being in the cards. On most of these cars nowadays the auto adds between $1000-$2000 onto base prices when...
I have two very different interpretations on this and what could happen
One is that they would never do a manual because basically the only people that even care about them is me and you and two other weirdos on the internet by this point. This is the more likely scenario to me especially when...
