Sorry this offended you, that wasnāt the intent. Im. Maverick owner as well as others on this forum, it is nice to get other Maverick owners prospective.
Man, that is a nice ride. Yeah, this post wasnāt meant to offend anyone. I think the Maverick is great and meets a large demographic. Some buyers wanted a very inexpensive hybrid, FWD, and room to haul some stuff For 20k. Others like me live in place where 4x4 is almost a must (or AWD). The...
That is a great article, in my humble opinion offering the two door would have hit it out of the park. The thing I really appreciated of the 66 was basically able to turn around on a dime. It somewhat looked like a clown car how tight it could turn. The 4 door would not be able to make these...
i knew that had to be others like me out thereā¦. per the above post I need to order the Bronco and put down the downpayment. If it takes 4 years so be itā¦.the downpayment in the back makes about the same amount of money as letting Ford hold on to itš. I have a 3/4 ton diesel that currently...
Man, that is awesomeā¦.
I really hope someday the stick will come back. In my option It makes driving much more enjoyable. I recent sold an 08 Audi A4 with a manual and sure miss the fun of driving.
I figured that was probably the case. Would you be able to put in a request with Ford for the Mav to get a Manual transmission
That is one option in vehicles today I really misā¦.
So I did my math with out a calculator handy.
my AWD, 4K, FX4 Maverick today gets a combine average 25mpg and est 15k per year with my current price per gal is 3.30. This (15000/25)X 3.30 with a annual cost of fuel $1,980.
My estimate on the Bronco is a combined millage of 15MPG. With the...
Thatās awesome, my understanding Ford is going to offer customers with an order already in place the option to push to the Raptor. the two options for me that would put it over the top is of course the manual transmission and two door option. The four door is huge and doesnāt remind me of the...
Yeah, when I got my Mav it had just arrived at the dealer. It too was loaded with basically all options. After that tacked on a few unwanted options it was out the door at nearly 39k without tax.
good Luck getting your order, I think you will be very happy.
if I have my math correct, I drive a max of about 15K per year with an estimated 10Mpg difference between to two options. I guess that would be 150gal per year at 3.30/gal with an annual difference of about $500/year. The fuel would be only $2,500 for the total duration Of the 5 years. Now...
Great question, it would have to be more than a toy. I would need to drive it as a daily driver for at least 5 years before it was more the hobby off-roader. It would need to get in the general millage of 18-20 to work. That might not be possible with 37ā tires.
Yeah, in that case there is no way I would even think about it. The year wait might not be the worst thing considering the difference in cost between the Mav and the Bronco. i know there are a lot of Mavās sub 30k, but Iām well into the 40ās on mine making the jump not that big of obstacle.
Iām sure this will take on a lot of critics, but seeing the details on the new Ford Bronco Raptor has cause me to ponder my decision to buy the Maverick. I have to start that my hart has always lead me to the early style Bronco. I unfortunately made the mistake of selling my 66 Bronco about 7...
very sophisticated look, I like that they seem to have better coverage on the sides than their competitors. it would bug me to see the creases from shipping folds.
Interested to hear how easy they are to clean. The surface seems like it would be a pain to get the mud and grime out.
still...
Caught red handed, Iām a huge fan of the added protection and and amazing look that ceramic brings. It might be that Iām a little lazy and want to limit the time of cleaning.
that Would be a nice option to have, it would be cool to have a video of the factory floor. I had wondered if itās a spray type molding process. Anyway, I find it great that they are manufactured in the USA. I try my hardest to support all USA manufacturing even if it cost me a little more.
