Mine has the keyless fob but just checked the hide-away key does manually lock/unlock the tailgate. Maybe it needs a lock lubricant or perhaps someone else and yours the ford dudes swapped locks

The Maverick backup is not horrible, much better than a 4Runner! When I get time will be adding aux backup lights.

I use turtle wax ceramic graphene as a base coat, topped with Graphene max and last winter it lasted all season with one to two washes a week. No scratches. Just need a good coating.
