There are at this point 3 different AWD systems on the Maverick. At least one would work for you.
I'll wait for a side by side comparison with the standard EcoBoost AWD, but this was pretty weak "off-road" performance. I could see why they didn't slap the FX4 and Tremor stickers on these units...
It has a mind of its own for good reason. 😁
From the service manual:
This vehicle is equipped with an anti fogging feature known as enhanced windshield anti fogging
strategy (EWAFS). This feature is based off the input data that is sent from the in-vehicle temperature
and humidity sensor that...
I didn't call you an idiot. I attempted to help you based on my knowledge of the limitations of the system and its bugs (that I've personally encountered), and asked you for a build number to confirm if you're on the latest version.
You decided to lash out anyway.
Fine. All the best.
Well...you keep saying the "latest" but you won't actually post what that means. 😎
The reason I keep pressing you is because pressing "update" on the truck doesn't always get you the latest and because the symptom you're talking about is exactly the issue that's fixed in the last build of Sync 3.
I think the latest build starts with a 23. Is that what you have? I assume you're not just relying om the auto updater to work?
The previous build would cause these issues where it wouldn't save settings, radio presets, etc., and that sounds like what you're experiencing.
You want to make sure that you're on the latest Sync 3 update. I'm about 99.99% this will fix the issue.
I recommend using the USB flash drive method on their site:

The hybrid as it comes stock needs both the skid plate for the engine bay and a plate for the battery/evap canister, which might not even get designed in the aftermarket, for me to be comfortable taking it everywhere my FX4 has been. I think you might be surprised with how capable these things...
Very few will do that. That's true.
Just like very few people will tow with their F-150, take their sports car above 70 mph or to a track, etc. It's all an image.
I just think of it was a modern Subaru Baja with more power and capability.
I believe 235/65R17 is the max it'll do without erroring out. This should be selectable via the "ez mode" instead of providing millimeters in one of the modules.
Never owned a Hyundai, but modern car buying seems to be an "out of the frying pan, into the fire" type of situation.
I could go pay double what a Maverick costs and still be hit with the same rattles and battery failures on an F-150 or Silverado. That's partly why I haven't sold my Maverick...
1. There's no garage door opener offered on the Maverick.
2. Your garage door might have an app directly, but nothing via Ford.
3. Sliding rear window is somewhere between $1200-2000 in parts and installation, and probably isn't worth your money.
4. There is no rear defroster on the Maverick.
