Best and easiest way to do this is to use a wireless OBD scanner and have a third party app display the gear you are in. Check this thread below and also the Cobb accessport tuner will display the current gear you are in as well. There is no known way to do this with Forscan and I donāt think it...
After asking Cobb and multiple pro tuners, no one Iāve talked about is able to enable manual mode on the 2022-2024 maverick ecoboost.
Iāve looked into some information about the Mk4 2021-2022 Ford Focus ST line and ST model and they both have paddle shifters and manual mode and they share a lot...
You did a great job of explaining this thread for anyone who is looking for the information without having to read through all 15 pages!! Haha!
I just checked and the cargo lights and bed lights do illuminate when backing up. The thing is, if you have a bed cover, you will not be able to see...
So Cobb says manual mode is possible with a pro tuner. Those of us who have a Cobb accessory should try to find a tuner that is able to do this. I will contact Cobb support and see if they can push an update where we could just turn manual mode on and Iāll ask to see which tuners can do this for...
Iāve compared the codings over and over again and tried many coding changes in almost every module there really isnāt much else I can find. Seems to be a wiring or hardware difference
Iām curious if swapping in paddle shifters and making the coding changes on a 2025 maverick non lobo would make manual mode work compared to a 2022-2024 maverick non lobo.
I swapped in the entire PCM coding from a 2025 LOBO maverick into my 2024 maverick Xl and there still was no manual mode. With the info and picture you provided, I think the wiring to and from the GSM must be different somehow compared to the regular maverick.
Iām going to try to recode my AWD...
i think a maverick with a turbo coyote v8 engine swap would be the ultimate mini truck for drag racing. Look at the new f150s with the coyote engine that are drag racing. They are running 8 second 1/4 miles easily. It really depends what youre trying to do with the maverick honestly. The 2.3...
My front CarPlay USB connector crapped out on me and I ended up buying a new one and replacing it myself. The new one was an updated part number and I have had no problems since I replaced it. Here it is on Amazon. Ford or other websites may sell it for cheaper .

My truck is a 2024 XL and Iām not sure why it was not populated for bed light power from the C404 connector and Iām not sure what mavericks actually do and donāt have pin 6 populated.
