I got a June build date for my EB. I decided to see what my Hybrid XL was worth now - was offered 9k more than what I paid. So now I'm driving the beater that I still have until the EB gets here.
With the Rav4, that isn't a pure apples to oranges comparison though. Yes, money-wise the PHEV (Rav4 Prime) is the least economical of those 3 but unlike a lot of PHEVs, it is a lot more powerful than the standard Rav4 or the Hybrid. The PHEV offers a 40 mile electric range, AWD, and 300...
Granger or Flood is the way to go. You can choose exactly what coverage and for how long you want/need as well. Far cheaper than most dealerships, the same coverage, and you can even use your Fordpass points to help offset the cost if you want.
Seems like you're cutting it real close on the tow capacity with that dry weight. With much of anything in that camper you're going to get over 4,000 lbs, which doesn't seem like a great idea, especially if you'll be going over mountain passes.
For grins, I played around some more and got quotes from vroom and driveo.
driveo offered me $30,000 for my 23 Maverick XL Hybrid with 1,500 miles, spray-in bedliner, CP360, and hitch
vroom offered me $18,000. -
Gotcha. Yeah I just got my 23 Hybrid rollover order a month ago - I decided I wanted AWD and the towing capacity in the meantime, so I placed an order for an AWD EB in September. Just got notice that my EB is getting built in June. I've got a few months to figure out what I'm going to do.
Offers have been pretty underwhelming in my area of Texas as well. I've often wondered about the feasibility of comparing basic value trends by region across the different trims/engine options, but I know that would be a huge undertaking that would fluctuate a lot. It would definitely be worth...
Hope they are able to correct the installation without issue. If so, I'd say that's a pretty reasonable approach to fixing their error, getting a refund and having the bedliner installed correctly (assuming they do, that is). It sucks that your order got messed up from the factory to begin...
They look really good - also interested in other colors; black leather is a hard no for me in Texas heat.
Since it doesn't show on Amazon, what was the price listed for these?
If you haven't already, you may try contacting Ford Marketing at 1-800-334-4375. My dealer had problems finding mine because I had moved and it was under a different address - I actually had to contact Ford Marketing twice to find mine and then once I had the certificate it was fine.
I had a '22 Hybrid XL and just picked up a '23 Hybrid XL on Friday. In the 22, I noticed the brakes on it immediately. I got used to it over the few thousand miles I drove it, but it was annoying and somewhat dangerous at first because I honestly thought I was going to run into a vehicle in...
My Oct 21 rollover Hybrid XL order has finally arrived. When my order rolled to MY23, the dealer offered to do a courtesy delivery to my local dealer here in Texas. It got here earlier this week.
After a few days of confusion, my original dealer realized that they would have to do all the...
Gotcha. My dealer has not been forthcoming with sharing any information or communicating with me, so I can't speak to that. However, the Ford tracker did just update today to tell me that my Maverick is in final preparations. The dealer didn't actually communicate that to me, mind you, but...
Mine hasn't given me any update at all when I've called for a rail update - it just states no information is available. I talked to Ford customer service on Friday and they told me it had made it to Arizona and was waiting to swap trains. At this point I'm trying not to stress about it.
Glad to hear it ended up being smooth. I originally ordered through Kirkland in October 21 as well. Once it rolled over I was able to get it courtesy-delivered to a local dealer as I moved across country but I'll still be completing the order through them. Mine is set to arrive as early as...
