This may be a strange question, but if you are able to get the rail car information and track it, does it tell you the destination?
My original dealer agreed to have my roll-over order drop-shipped to a local dealer since I now live halfway across the country. He says it was done but Ford chat...
My Hybrid XL I ordered 475 days ago supposedly went into production just over a week ago but the tracker hasn't updated yet. Hopefully it'll finish soon and they can throw it on that same train, sooner rather than later.
Only crickets regarding my AWD EB XL I ordered in September, but hey, 1...
No telling why someone traded it. A lot of people ended up buying whatever they could find on the lot as opposed to waiting, so in many cases they didn't get the options they wanted - maybe their order ended up coming after all or they found the Mav with the options they wanted (hybrid, lariat...
Man that Bronco is sharp. I think eruption green is possibly my favorite color of any new vehicle and I was really hoping they'd bring it over for the Mavericks for MY23. Oh well.
Gotcha, thanks for sharing. I had seen some posts on this forum about the TPMS - some seem to indicate that their new sensors basically learned on their own and others had to go through that.
And yeah, I think I'm just going to take the risk. I plan on painting these, swapping them onto my...
Probably a dumb question but is there any way to easily determine if a set of tires/wheels include TPMS sensors?
I came across a set of Mav steelie takeoffs complete with the tires and center caps with a few hundred miles. The seller is not sure if they have the TPMS sensors or not though...
That's an interesting take on a Ford Maverick forum. 4-6 months (if that time is actually accurate, I'm not interested enough to actually confirm their delivery times are accurate) still beats 3 months - never for the delivery of a vehicle. Also the fact that you can still walk into a dealer...
I actually went and drove a Bolt last week just for this reason. I actually liked it but finding one is difficult. The one I drove was already sold. The salesman said it was a 4-6 month wait to order. The Bolt starts at like 28, so after the tax credit it's really reasonable.
My carbonized gray is supposed to be here next month (we'll see how accurate that is). I'm debating on getting a set of steelie takeoffs just so it's easier to paint the wheels - there's a complete set locally for 250. May try to talk him down.
No, they don't run your credit. Ford only runs your credit if you're financing a vehicle - they generally don't even discuss how you're paying or if you're financing until the order arrives.
My build date got pushed into February so I guess I've got some time to figure out what they mean. Mine is getting dropshipped to a local dealer so I'm not looking forward to figuring that out over the phone. But hey, it's coming soon(ish). Most likely.
I had a similar experience with Ford Marketing. I'm even more confused because I apparently have 3 different private offers associated with my order. She gave me a 10 digit "certificate number" and then gave me 3 different 5 digit program numbers. She said she didn't have any information on...
Yep, military too. I was talking to the salesman and mentioned that I had moved to Texas. He offered the dropship option. I gave him my local Ford dealer's info, he confirmed with them (and I did too) that they could receive it here. He then sent me the updated order invoice which shows the...
Ran into a similar situation as I moved across the country this summer. I'm expecting my rollover Hybrid order to get built at the end of January; my dealer agreed to dropship it to a dealer near me so I don't have to go across country to pick it up.
The local dealer said they'll charge $500...
I'm in a similar boat for my Hybrid XL rollover. No emails but I have a VIN and production date of 1/30/23 from Ford chat (originally ordered 10/21/21.).
Saw the comment about making sure the email was added to the order; I'll ask the dealer the next time I have to bug him but I don't need to...
