I’ve had both an FX4 Maverick and a hybrid. Get the hybrid. If they ever produce an AWD hybrid, it should be an even easier choice. The eCVT is better than the EcoBoost clicking away. Both have their benefits and are very nice though.
Perhaps because Mass. has right to cure laws. If seen lots of fine print about “check here” if you’re a MA resident on loan applications. Maybe reasons specific to that state is why. I did Ford’s 0% 36mo on our Hybrid Maverick this May 2022 so it’s def worth fighting for free money.
The one in our former Escape Hybrid had the light up touch panel behind the glass on door frame. Pretty cool. I actually use this ford feature a lot. The Mav is our 5th Ford vehicle to have the keyless entry pad. It’s surprisingly convenient. If we go out on a hike or bike ride, never have to...
We have a 4Ever (Gracco?) from Costco and have traveled across country in our Maverick with no issues. I even keep the car seat behind me at 6’1” driving position. There’s lots of room. Actually the foot area on driver side has more room in the Maverick than our much larger Kia Telluride.
I’ve had the FX4 EcoBoost Maverick and currently the hybrid. You want the hybrid. Don’t over-think it. End of day these aren’t the most capable trucks for towing or off-roading anyway. Realistically if you live where speeds are above 65mph you’ll get 27 on highway in the AWD at best and nothing...
Sold the FX4. But yes, had 2 for a short period of time. Waited a year like everyone for the hybrid and got lucky with the FX4 on a lot back in December 2021.
I agree but I don’t thing the majority of maverick owners are really doing this? That’s why for gas and price savings the hybrid makes most sense. I don’t think the Mav should really be in an off/road package just my opinion even after having one. I will say the FX4 maverick is amazing though...
Today was in 50°s. Not too high up, somewhere around 7,000 ft. This burn area was from 2012 & 2020 fires. The dead trees definitely were an accelerant. Aspens shooting up quickly and lower ground veg. as well.
Yes, I’d you can skillfully keep the pedal so the truck stays in electric mode (EV coach display helps on this) the electric torque really helps creep up the steep hills with the front wheel drive w/o slipping traction. Although I’m convinced with even basic A/T tires on the hybrid you’d go...
Got a bit lost in the mountains of north Colorado on a fire road but the hybrid maverick (and stock tires) REALLY impressed me.
and prior to this, we had a FX4 Maverick so I feel like I can gauge the differences.
I can say with certainty, the hybrid is going to be perfectly fine for 95% of you...
We had an FX4 Maverick that had 0 rattles even on dirt/off road. Was as well built as our older F150. We now exchanged it and have a Hybrid Maverick. Rear pass. speaker area rattling like crazy + center dash rattle + crease/gap in plastic below the hard audio buttons where the pieces join. The...
