Wait. Patience will pay off. I’ve had both EB & hybrid. The latter is hands down the way to go.
it’s not just about the fuel savings. The eCVT is super smooth, doesn’t sound like a pre-puberty diesel clicking away, is instantly responsive. Don’t have the annoying start/stop ignition. The...
My subjective opinion, after owning an FX4 EcoBoost Maverick and now a Hybrid Maverick for 8 months is there should only be a hybrid or electric variants of the Maverick. The EcoBoost, FX4, Tremor etc. is silly for this type of vehicle.
I do truly understand why people want AWD or light towing...
So for a short while, we actually had the FX4 Maverick. I went with these tires, one size wider. I didn't care for the way the front stuck out, just that extra bit. And the performance going larger was negligible so considering I personally didn't like the look, I would not do it again (and didn't).
real "napa" leather. Real wood trim too like its 1990 again :) I cant knock the maverick seats, I actually love the cloth ones on our XLT.. and like all Ford's the heated seats get HOT
Omg these seats… it may have been the tipping point. We had looked at a Lariat, but then this shows up…. Heat/cooling/MASSAGING and full lay-flat seats. Amazing stuff.
I hear ya, the price of these is nothing to sneeze at, that’s for sure! Our last F150 was in the family for 17 years so… fingers crossed this makes it to 2039 lol.
We had an 06 V6 Escape with about 190K miles. Now have a maverick. You’re in for a treat my friend! You’ll have 0 regrets. Even if you have to wait, wait. Maverick hybrid is worth it.
I fell in love with our hybrid maverick. It’s still one of the best vehicles that I’ve owned for so many reasons. Drive it daily. Even on BFG Trail Terrains (factory size) we still get 42-47mpg in town! 30s all day on interstate. Can’t say enough positives for the Maverick. BUT…
still, I was...
Reminds me of my grandfathers old GMC he drove around in. It was a truck by all means, not a “luxury” truck like we have today. Anyway, he sawed off a key and left it in the ignition, doors always left unlocked (he lived in rural WA). Never had to worry about stuff like that back in the day.
I did a full fill-up and drove the entire tank empty on a road trip in our former FX4 Maverick using Maverick (ironic) gas station’s “clean-gas/ethanol-free 91” (blue handle pump). I honestly didn’t notice a bit of difference in any capacity.
I’ve had an FX4 and Hybrid maverick out here in Colorado. Our regular grade is 85 and that’s what I use for all our vehicles, incl. both those Mavericks. Never had any problems. The only time I’ve noticed or used top octane gasoline is if towing in our former F150- then I notice for sure (that...
🚨 There is a pre-recall on Maverick d/t airbags - I wonder if your scenario applies? I received the official notice from ford. No parts or repair info yet. My dealer said not until first quarter of 2023. Who knows.
