I had to get rid of the stock tires for the winter and they were replaced with a set of Toyo Celsius. Truck handles the snow pretty amazing for a FWD only rig.

Work was done by Super Sound Muffler & Exhaust in Athol, ID and all in total cost with the tip was 170 dollars

It is more throaty if you can believe it for a NA 2.5, especially on cold starts

My local Exhaust shop in Athol, ID did the work for 133 dollars and the tip was bought at Amazon for 35 dollars.

My goal was to try an achieve the look of the old Sport Trac Adrenalin package and the exhaust that I just had done is one step closer. Stock muffler, stock cat and pre cat with only a resonator delete and dual outlet tip. More indepth photos that folks were asking for.

Leave the cover off as that is what i did with mine and there was no difference in fuel milage as a result.

That IS INDEED a second cat converter and is NOT a resonator!

Shay if I may I would like to add to your list and correct and few things as well. So number 5 on your list you are indeed misinformed on this one. That is indeed a SECOND cat converter and since the primary one is up by the manifold that is where the two o2 sensors are located. The Maverick...

Well I have 27k on my Hybrid Mav and the only issue I have is a leaky inner CV axle boot on the passsenger side that is now starting to fail. Waiting on a new CV shaft from Ford, but other than that the truck has been a blessing and super reliable.

Why would flooring your truck void warranty or cause the half shaft to fail? Kinda of silly don't you agree?!

Well since the boot is not cracked or broken and since the CV is not making any noise they said it was ok to drive even with the vibration. But if it fails completely they are the 1st ones on my call list!

Ford please help!!! So this started about a month a ago when i noticed grease oozing out of the passenger side inner CV joint. Looks like it is coming from where the boot is mounted to the shaft. I noticed it on my tire rotation that i do every 10k. So i made an appointment to have it looked...
