Good day
If your windshield is like mine, there is a small mark on the window that indicates where the wiper should rest, when is turned off and returns to its parked position.

Good day
We just had another thread a few days ago, where they were having their Sync 4 system freezing. I think you have the Sync 3 in your Maverick?
The thing that seemed to help them was for a complete reboot of their sync system. Theirs was an issue with connecting their phone and...
Good day
That kind of damage already, really really sucks.
My only thought as to the cause is that it has been damaged excessively by the higher UV exposure you experience at higher altitudes in Colorado?
I am also wondering if that is an indication that maybe the stripping was from a...
I think he would indeed shoot it in the head (double-tap of course...we want to make sure they stay down) and it would be very publicly done, as a warning to all the other shoddy vehicles out there!
😉
Have a great day, and may we all enjoy a vehicle that is NOT worthy of a double-tap.
Andy
Good thinking, they sound like they didn't do the ACCM module update...
From what Daryll has said, the accm is an important module to get updated when sudden battery drains occur...
And the 12 volt battery getting charged thoroughly is so important before doing the process to try and get...
Good day @HenrysDad
We occasionally have a child seat installed in our Maverick for when we transport our grand-daughter.
You might want to have a look at where you have placed your child seat, if you ever have someone in the front passenger seat while your child is in the seat.
Reason...
Good day
So, I have been trying different things to replicate my trucks charging indication after a visit to the auto-spa (dealer) for the trailer module update.
It looks to me like they had my truck hooked up to a battery charger as they did their work...which is completely appropriate...
Good day @Frenchy
I just had the trailer update done on our 2025 Lariat (last week at our dealer) and have had no issues with our Sync 4 screen or maps...but we use Waze (owned by Google now, but still separate). Waze has been working perfectly lately.
Maybe try using Waze if...
I am glad to see you found your answer!
Using the Google search function can definitely help with searches here on MTC, when we want to try and figure something out.
Have a good one,
Andy
Yes, you never know when a deal might pop up, and a straight swap is a good deal as everyone is happy.
I like the look of these stock rims on our colour of truck...not too flashy, but good looking none the less!
Have a great day,
Andy
I haven't had any issues with expanding plastic bug screens, but I did use the tougher metal bug mesh on our van, inside the grill.
The metal bug mesh is the best as it can take a hit!
Gotta be careful with it so you don't scratch yourself or the vehicle, as you said.
Looks like a bit of...
Good day @BLUEOVALRACER
I had the wheels turned as I had my steering wheel lock on it as we would be parked for the ball game.
Here are 2 photos, one shadow side, and one from the sun side...might give you a good idea what the wheels look like in different lighting conditions.
I also...
Good day
When we take longer trips such as this, I hook up our AGM-friendly smart charger (truck is tucked away in our garage) for the duration.
I figure this is better then having to re-enter everything that might get erased due to no battery power or having g to possibly train the truck...
Good day @TedTX
Yep, your battery is almost done!
May I suggest what I would do/am doing (as I have a camper van that can eat batteries).
Get the new battery, charge that with an AGM appropriate charger before putting it in the truck.
Carry out a new battery installed in truck...
Hi @fauxsoul
I have a Canadian Tire 1-7 amp and another 1 amp charger (12 volt), which is are both smart chargers and appropriate for AGM batteries and flooded lead acid as well.
Many here swear by their NOCO GENIUS 5 smart chargers, which I also recommend...but try to ensure it is a...
Good day @CribbageGuy
Welcome to the forum and I hope you really enjoy your Mav as much as we like ours!
Our Mav is a 2025 Lariat
Have a good one,
Andy (in Manitoba)
I think I will wander out to the garage, sit on a stool and see if it is possible to put a bug screen behind the trucks grills.
I did this on our camper van when we got it and it has saved my radiator over the years of summer travels. And is hidden so it isn't butt-ugly.
I am gonna need...
