Good day
I believe your app is fine....however, as your truck is in Battery Saver Mode, your 12 volt battery isn't!
The truck is trying to save what little battery you have so that it can make the connections so you can start it when you need it.
Have you had all the updates available...
Melting lens', yikes I don't like that!
Let me know if you want suggestions as to a replacement strobing red led 3rd brake light and led lights for the lights on each side of the 3rd brake light...I changed mine after I heard the lens can melt due to the halogen bulb heat.
I got mine...
I am glad this all got sorted out in short order, @710!
Yes, sometimes there are quick knee-jerk responses, but I hope that doesn't dissuade you from enjoying and contributing here, there is actually a really great group on MTC!
Have a great day,
Andy
Good day
If the OP does return, and reads the replies, only they can post a pic of their bumper (a la Glen Baker LLC post...to see if they have the sensors installed, I assume?). Or confirm they have the Luxury pkg which includes the sensors and audible warning.
From what my quick search...
Yes, I had the trailer module update in April when I had my spring oil change.
I was still having the over 15 volts indicated when driving, initially. I then plugged the hitch light in, headlights on.
I am going to unplug the Hitch light, but not yet...I started with the hitch light and...
Good day, all
Edit to add - We have a 2025 Hybrid Maverick with AWD and 4k tow pkg, with a stock AGM battery. So you know where I am coming from in my experience with my truck.
Well, I have been closely monitoring my Mav 12 volt battery since the end of November...using both my simple...
Good day @HeyBales
Here is my driver's side windshield wiper mark, it is quite easy to see and get a photo of. My wipers are sited closely to their respective marker dots.
As long as mine aren't way out of whack (striking on something if dropping to low during their cleaning stroke...
Good day
Nice indicator, and it shows amps as well! I have been looking for one like that but no luck so far.
Just a note, when you can see the voltage after the truck is shut off, you aren't getting a true reading as to the battery actual charge level.
It is showing the voltage with...
Thank you for your detailed explanation of your trip and the issues you had!
I am glad you were able to get it sorted out, once you had it towed to the dealer.
I am sure others will read your story and also heed the warning signs you experienced, and your thoughts on not draining the...
Your (and my) use case fits this HT (Highway Terrain, for anyone that is wondering what the letters mean) perfectly.
My use as well (but not the miles you do) is mainly highway/city roads as well as the occasional dirt roads for going fishing or visiting family...nothing gnarly or...
Welcome to the MTC!
I will warn you, people here will be asking for photos of your new truck..."no pic's, or it didn't happen!"
Lots of good info here to search through, and using the Google search button can help as well.
Have a great day,
Andy
I completely agree with using the Goodyear Territory HT tires. That is what our Lariat came with and I expect to put them on when these are worn, if they continue to make me happy.
The Goodyear tires have about 11/32" tread depth when new, and mine at 16,000 kms (about 13,000 kms of it on...
No problem, glad I was able to help.
I learned about the windshield wiper dot here awhile ago on another wiper thread.
It is a handy bit of info to pass on...that is the beauty of a site like this!
Have a great day,
Andy
I looked closely at your photo, and your wiper seems to be sitting above its parked position...I think that I can see your indication spot below your wiper.
Here is a pic of my wiper in its proper position.
Be careful if you decide to pull your wiper off (to reposition), as I have read...
