I'm waiting for it to be fixed THEN ordering. Brakes shouldn't ever have to be recalled. FMCo touts that the Mav is cheap b/c it uses existing teck and parts. The brakes should not be an issue.
Any good metal shop can fab something up. I pretty sure you wouldn't be the first to ask. If it were me (and not covered) I'd have a piece of straight pipe welded in.
I installed STB on my 06 civic sedan and made a noticeable difference on the cloverleaf. Civics strut tower is so close to firewall it's underneath the W.W. cowl. Any increase in stability of structural geometry is a plus. If you're happy with handling then not needed but I consider any increase...
I thought there's a different weight ratio front/rear between EB & hybrid. I never looked it up but a 2.5 w/electric motor vs 2.0 turbo probably weight different.
Loose the bug deflector and it'll really pop.
What Mavs need are fender/grill scoops. My Miata had one on drivers side replacing the turn signal unit. At the time you'd install an LED next to it to keep legal. Now a days you could go with a light ring.
