I disagree to a point.
The OEM intake/exhaust are designed for max engine efficiency but also for sound suppression. A cone filter w/a smooth sided intake will flow faster (more efficiently) but will also trumpet the intake noise out. Exhaust as you can imagine has the same effect.
Cold air intake for a turbo is wasted money. When turbo compress intake air it heats up (a lot). It needs to be cooler between turbo and MAF.
High flow is goal for increased EB performance.
Walkaway and order another one or ask for deep discount for damaged vehicle. If you do walk away the dealership will repair and sell it for a big markup.
It won't be addressed ever for a $20k vehicle. Their are several aftermarket door gaskets for wind noise. After I did my Edge 70mph sounds better than 60mph ever did.
These are the two vehicles we eventually want at our house.
We've owned a 2006 Civic since new and love it. It also has the best theft deterrent device, manual transmission!! During 3yrs friend was Assist DA in N.O. no vehicle w/mt was stolen. It's also a skill we want our kids to have.
