Whoa, that's amazing! Looks great. When I got this Maverick, I got rid of my 1998 F150, and I would only wash it about once a year. After 26 years the metallic paint still looked like new. It defies logic, but it sure seemed that a good healthy coat of dirt protected the paint over all those years.
I washed and waved my Maverick for the first time today. Looks ok, but I am wondering what product might be recommended. So many different types available at the nearby stores, and the internet recommendations seem to be a mixed bag. Also, do the UV-protective coatings for the trim really work...
I read the recommendations in this forum about folding steps for the Maverick and was just about to order one, but then I saw an ad for a 2-step ladder on sale at Walmart for $11.88. I purchased it a couple weeks ago—not expecting much, but it has been fantastic. It’s the perfect height next to...
A nice upgrade for the Console Vault is the “Elite 4-Digit Lock." The new lock makes it easier to read the numbers in dim light than the lock that came with it and is more secure too. Priced at $59, the site has a pre-order special (shipping this Spring) of $39. I ordered one for the rear-seat...
Received a Ford bed divider today, and it is fantastic! The 10-second install was unbelievably easy. In case someone wonders if there is clearance for a BedRug, mat, etc., I have a spray in bed liner with a 3/4" rubber mat; and there is exactly 3/8" gap between the divider and mat. Extremely...
So what year did Ford stop including manual covers with its vehicles? When I got my Maverick last month I looked at the manual and thought: "Gee, that looks like the same size as my 1998 F150's manual." Sure enough, fits perfectly.
I have hundreds of CD’s at home and still play them on a transport and DAC, but in my Maverick I prefer streaming services. I have tried Apple Music, Amazon, and Spotify, but Tidal is superior for audio quality. I love the B&O system in the Lariat. No, it doesn’t boom on the bottom and sizzle on...
They are a mix of American Staffordshire Terrier, Chihuahua, and Maltese. I got them from a dog rescue. They had been abandoned in a shopping cart at a Walmart when they were only a few weeks old, and the dog rescue facility did a DNA test on them. They love riding in the Maverick.
I bought this cover from Amazon for $36. Works great, and with straps connected to the child seat brackets and dog harnesses, my dogs don't jump on the front seats or door panels. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SHWBMCL?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
Thanks for all the great suggestions about disabling the panic button. The leather key fob case arrived today, as did the Faraday pouch. Both are fantastic! The leather case makes it highly unlikely I will accidentally activate the panic button, and the pouch works amazingly well. Here's a...
Didn't think of that, but I'll give it a try. At this point I'll try everything before attempting surgery of the fob. I have ordered a leather case, a rectangular zipper case, and a faraday pouch. Something has got to work.
Ok, here’s the situation: I accidentally keep setting off the panic alarm on the key fob. My Maverick is less than a month old, yet the horns have had the vocal workout of a 30-year-old singing Italian arias and German Lieder. I want it to stop. I read through the topic using the search feature...
